He is a seasoned technology executive whose vision to create an affordable vacation rental listing site – where users would not be burdened by expensive fees – has been realized with HomeEscape. HomeEscape has been at the center of an evolving marketplace for vacation rentals, and is poised to disrupt outdated platforms that charge high listing and service fees.

HomeEscape started at a fancy office in North Miami Beach, Florida, by Avi Vaknin, who has invested in several prominent startups. Avi is the former president and chief executive officer of Telx Technologies, a provider of technical support and web application development to Fortune 500 companies. An expert in technology brand development and cybersecurity, Avi has consulted both the military and the private sector. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
