Stroll the peaceful property along 150+ feet of sandy lake shore or take in the tranquil rippling sounds of the water from one of the property’s two private piers. Gather the entire family together in the enormous great room, enveloped in the warmth of a two story stone fireplace and the soft glow of an arcadian, antler chandelier, or watch movies and play a game of shuffleboard in the charming lower level. Walk out to the covered, lower level patio or onto the wrap around deck with a covered front patio to bask in awe-inspiring views of Lake Tomahawk.
Despite the feeling and imagery alluding to a remote destination, Musky Bay Lodge is minutes from downtown Lake Tomahawk or downtown Minocqua by car or boat! Drop into the Thirsty Whale, or The Boathouse for a refreshing summer drink on an over-water patio and enjoy the exciting entertainment of the Minocqua’s Min-AquaBats waterski show.
Lake Tomahawk is famous for its undeveloped hidden bays, islands, beaches and fantastic fishing. Musky are numerous and massive. Large and smallmouth bass, northern, blue gill, and crappie are fun and easy to catch right off the piers. Plan an early spring or fall trip for the best huge pike and musky action.
Summertime is great for shore lunch fish fries on the beach.
Winter activities include endless snowmobiling with a main trail about a block from the front door. Winter Park Cross country skiing is located just a few miles west of Minocqua.
