Fun in Paradise

This was our 3rd trip to Roatan, but the we have always stayed at the West Bay area. This was the first time we split our trip with 5 days at the East End, and it was wonderful. We looked at a few locations, and was very pleased with our final choice. Everything you can need, is available. The casita is fairly new, so everything is in very good condition. It is secluded, but there are neighbors nearby, and everyone is friendly. Heather provides a book with lots of advice. She also provides recommendations for rental car, which was very convenient and the driving was no problem. Plenty of nearby restaurants and drinking establishments. We also cooked some food ourselves, and did laundry. Definitely a place we recommend.

Wonderful stay at the casita

We stayed at the casita for several days and it was delightful. It was exactly what we were looking for. It is located in a private area and is surrounded by beautiful landscaping and you could see the water from the deck. It is a prefect place to stay and is close to several restaurants to drive to. There are also restaurants that are located directly on the water and it is easy to get around by boat. Scuba diving is close and so is an amazing beach with crystal blue water. If you want to stay away from tourists and enjoy the locals then this is a great experience! The kitchen in the house is amazing with windows that you could open and sit out on the deck. I cooked for a couple of evenings and it was great. We are definitely planning to come back soon and would like to stay longer.

I had the pleasure to be the very first guest to stay in Casita Iguana Verde! Hosts Heather and Ron were very responsive and helpful. Great recommendations for food and activities. The Casita itself was just perfect for a single or couple. I loved watching the sunrise colors while having my coffee on the deck. It is oriented to catch the easterly breezes which made for bug-free enjoyment of stargazing and dreams in the awesome bed. I recommend this rental for singles or couples - long term or short term. It's a guaranteed simple pleasure in paradise!
