South of San Juan Del Sur, Playa Yankee is where you will get spectacular views of Costa Rica. And the most beautiful stretch of coast in all of Nicaragua! As well as the most wonderful isolated beaches around!

For those that would love to be in a spectacularly beautiful area that is not far from town, with a huge beach and awesome surf break, and a place that is definitely not full of people everywhere, our villa is the perfect place to spend an incredible vacation.

Set right above Playa Yankee beach, our property location is beyond compare. In fact kiddy corner from our house is the top rated Resort Inn for all the San Juan Del Sur area. It is obvious to all who visit that the Cantamar de Yankee area is spectacular.

If you prefer to not rent a car, we have a driver who can pick you up to and from the airport, for the best rate in the area. He will take you by the grocery store on the way to the house (store hours depending). Our driver is also available to take you for a spectacular day on Ometepe Island. So please inquire if interested as he must book a ferry with some planning.

If you do not have a car, and want to go out around the area, we know a driver who gives rides in the area for a very economical price. If she is already booked, there are taxis too.

We can facilitate horse back riding from our doorsteps. The horses come to you, and from our house is the most exquisite horseback riding experience you can imagine.

In the area as well there is professional spa services, yoga classes, and rental surf boards. We usually have two surfboards to rent as well.

Our two bedroom property consists of an amazing one bedroom and one bath house, and an adjoining one bedroom and one bath cabin. The main house also includes a large day room with two comfortable day beds, so you have a lot of room to just lay around and soak up the spectacular views, or allow a party of up to six to sleep comfortably.

At our villa, you will discover a spectacular paradise with 180 degree panoramic views all over the house, and sitting above a long beautiful beach with a famous wave that surfers love! Surfers looove our house since the view is perfect for determining when the surf conditions are ideal. No need to leave the house in vain. Our open air house is a nature lovers dream come true.

Both the house and the cabina have surreal views.

House consists of a lovely master bedroom with a queen sized bed on beautiful organic wood. The master bathroom is fully equipped, and the shower is a huge space for your enjoyment.

Our cool cabina has a a queen sized bed, a sitting área with a countertop stove and a kitchen sink, and full sized bathroom with a stone sink and wooden counter.

The house's kitchen and dining room are open and airy. You can dine on the gigantic dining room table made of organic wood, and accompanied by six matching chairs; or on the wooden deck with the best views in the area.

The main house has a beautiful wooden deck adjoining the open and airy living room with the two convertible beds, made of organic wood. There is a covered deck off the master bedroom as well.

The cabina also has a lovely covered deck where occupants can enjoy the day watching the surreal beauty of the área.

There is a stainless steel gas bbq on the property for grilling.

We also have an outdoor shower.

On the property for your enjoyment is an exquisite swimming pool, a relaxing rancho, and pristine nature everywhere! We recently added parallel bars, a pull up bar, and a sit up bed near the pool. A vacation at our villa can be a health transforming experience!

Of course no vacation is fun without internet, and we went big here too. In our opinion, based on trial and error and others experience, there is one internet provider in Nicaragua that is top notch. They are expensive but in our opinion, worth every penny. Once you have stayed elsewhere in Nicaragua, you will really appreciate our fast as lightening wifi!

We have modems in both the house and cabina too, so no need to worry when everyone is using the internet in the mornings and the evenings. We have satellite televisión in both the house and cabina, and have just switched companies so now we have more English speaking channels than we did previously.

In the house there is a large locking cabinet. Plenty of free parking in the front of the house.

Where we are, Cantamar de Yankee, is probably the safest place in the San Juan Del Sur area. It is an exclusive community, with a security entrance onto the development, in an already safe, quiet, and peaceful area. Unfortunately we do hear of crimes in Nicaragua, at some of the vacation rentals not at Cantamar de Yankee. A major reason that our location can't be beat. We want you to enjoy the spectacular area and nature, but most of all, we want you to have a carefree and SAFE vacation. That is why we are proud to offer our home in arguably the safest spot in Nicaragua!

Check-in time is 4pm and check-out time is 11am. Earlier check-in and later check-out times can sometimes be accommodated depending on availability and prior arrangements made with us.
