Just a half block off Duval you’ll find your secret paradise awaiting you at Cloud 9. When you pass through the whimsical custom wrought iron gate decorated with palm fronds and a welcoming gecko, you’ll find yourself in the private brick courtyard facing the home with its French doors and balconies. As soon as you see the beautiful black bottom pool with waterfall, the clamor of Duval Street will seem miles away as you prepare to luxuriate in this completely renovated and modern home.
From the cool gray tile, which mimics slats of hardwood, to the crisp white paint throughout, you’ll find Cloud 9 is the epitome of relaxation and comfort. Two king bedrooms with en suite baths are on either side of the entry each with doors to both the rear porch and the front courtyard. A convenient wet bar shared between them offers easy access for refreshments while lounging poolside.
Following the wide staircase upstairs you’ll find a spacious open living/dining area also with access to front and rear balconies. A luxurious l-shaped sofa provides ample seating, and the dining table features seating for eight. A large and thoughtfully appointed gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances inspires creative meals and lively entertaining. Also upstairs is a third bedroom with en suite bath.
Cloud 9 is just steps away from Fausto’s, Key West’s family-owned grocery store offering fine food and wine as well as basics and pantry staples. All of the sights and sounds of Duval Street including upscale shops, fine dining, coffee shops, nightlife and theatre are within easy walking distance. You may purchase CSA Travel Insurance through Historic Key West Vacation Rentals or through an agency of your choice. A quote has been provided. This insurance is available to U.S. residents only. We ask our international guests to find a local provider. Hurricanes: If you are traveling during Hurricane Season, which is generally June 1 through Nov. 30, we strongly suggest you purchase Travel Insurance. There will be no refunds for weather or for early departure.
DAMAGE INSURANCE:
You have the option of purchasing a $45 damage insurance policy which covers your entire party for up to $3000 of unintentional damages. This includes many unexpected everyday accidents from red wine spills and make up stains, to appliances and glassware. Most of our guests prefer this rather than being charged the full amount of the cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged item. Your other option is a refundable $3000 security deposit.
SMOKING:
Our homes are all non-smoking. Smoking is allowed outside only and ashtrays are provided. Smoking inside will result in additional cleaning charges.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY:
Maximum occupancy of the property is set by the Fire Marshall. Only the guests listed on the last page of the contract are permitted to stay overnight on the property.
