BEDROOM - features a Queen sized bed with quality linens, a free-standing armoire for storing clothing and shoes, a linen closet, and lots of bookcases filled with great hardback and paperback books.
LIVING ROOM - has a leather couch and love seat, a 50" plasma TV, a brick fireplace (non-working), and a glass-topped table with two chairs for dining. There is also a handmade desk with task light if you need to spread out and get work done, as well as reliable, high-speed, wifi.
KITCHENETTE - includes a refrigerator with ice maker, stove/oven, sink, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffeemaker, and cupboards filled with pantry items including paper goods. (Please note: we do not have a dishwasher.) There is also a kitchen island which holds cookware and two barstool chairs.
BATHROOM - has a glass-walled shower with a bench seat and heated floor tiles. Medicine cabinet is stocked with toiletries and personal products for your use. Blow dryer and 5x magnification mirror are included.
PRIVATE LAUNDRY ROOM - has an efficient stacked washer/dryer and complementary laundry supplies. There are also a steam iron and ironing board available.
BACKYARD - French doors in the living room lead to the backyard. We have a fire pit and chairs in the lower level of the backyard, and a table and chairs on the upper deck - all available for your use.

Reviews
It's a quiet, spacious place with a very comfortable bed and a full kitchen as well as desk space. The owners live upstairs and were friendly, available if needed, and helpful. Everything (appliances, TV etc.) worked and the apartment was clean, well-organized, with a large, attractive yard area. This will be our "home away from home" when we're in the peninsula area for sure.
I was in the Bay area for a week on business and stayed for a second time at this lovely, well-maintained property. It is a finished downstairs apartment of a home in the hills of Redwood City, with the apartment looking out into the beautiful, backyard garden. The apartment is very clean and spacious, with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including bathroom and kitchen supplies, as well as a large library of books, videos, and magazines. The kitchen is well-stocked, both in terms of cooking supplies and dinnerware. The owners even thoughtfully left a new carton of half-and-half in the refrigerator to go with a supply of Keurig coffee pods. The apartment was quite cool, and I did occasionally need to use the provided space heater. The bathroom is also a little small but has a heated floor, which was a nice surprise and very welcome during the winter. The roads leading up to the house are a little winding and dark at night, so as a tip to renters, I would try to make the first trip up to the house during daylight hours. However despite being on a quiet road up in the hills, the property has very easy and quick access to 280. Overall this property has served as a terrific home base for me in the Bay area, and I would definitely stay again in the future.
This is a lovely, impeccably clean spacious apartment with all of the comforts of home. It is centrally located and just a few minutes to Stanford which was our reason for renting it not once but twice. Christina and Mark have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Wonderful linens and the bed was so warm and comfy. It sure beats the hotel rooms that we have had to stay in when this was not available. Thank you C & M for sharing your home.

My partner and I stayed here for one week (he had a conference, I had other work).. The place is spacious (much more so than many bay area places), well-equipped and nicely decorated. The neighborhood was really nice for walks and runs (hilly and green), and Caltrain/Redwood city were a short drive away. Christina and Mark were very gracious hosts. We would definitely stay here again!
