Welcome to Lago Vista. We offer our home as a retreat for old friends and new friends to enjoy. We think you will find it to be a relaxing escape, no matter what the season. Enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful panoramic view of Greer’s Ferry lake and Sugarloaf Mountain and miles and miles beyond. Welcome to Lago Vista. We offer our home as a retreat for old friends and new friends to enjoy. We think you will find it to be a relaxing escape, no matter what the season. Enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful panoramic view of Greer’s Ferry lake and Sugarloaf Mountain and miles and miles beyond. Our family has enjoyed many days on this lake, as well as the great golf courses, tennis courts and many other recreational opportunities here. But the best thing about Lago Vista is that, for a few days, it can belong to you.
The home:
The home’s décor is casually elegant. There are 4 bedrooms (2 of which are masters) with 3 full baths and one ½ bath. Nine separate beds can easily accommodate 3 families and can sleep as many as 16 people including the large sofas. MBR 1 - king bed, MBR 2 - queen and full/twin bunk, BR 3 - queen and full/twin bunk, BR 4-2 queens. There is a modern fully equipped kitchen as well as a propane grill on the deck. 2 living areas with large flat screen TVs and blue ray dvd players (netflix capable). The downstairs recreation room and den has a pool table that can be converted for ping pong. Our 2 huge decks featuring plenty of seating including 2 porch swings, offer views as far as your eyes can see. After a day at the lake or golf course – there is plenty to do at the house – play ping pong, pool, watch TV or movies with plenty of room to stretch out enjoy the view and make great memories.

Fairfield Bay wraps around the north shore of beautiful Greers Ferry lake, a 50-mile long, 40,000 acre clean mountain lake with 343 miles of shoreline. The lake is an outdoor playground for fishing, boating, wake-boarding and skiing, scuba diving, and sailing. The Fairfield Bay Marina is your center for water recreation, renting ski boats and skis, party barges, boat slips and houseboats. Sightseeing trips, dinner cruises and the Sugarloaf Mountain Shuttle are a few of the excursions offered at the marina.
Local activities and amenities:
•walk 2 blocks to tennis and swimming at the Bay View Club. A few blocks further, woodland mead park, (.4 mi) offers basketball courts, shuffleboard, volleyball, flag football, miniature golf, horseshoes, and picnics. The recreation dept offers entertainment and classes.
•golf at Mountain Ranch Golf Club (rated top public course in Arkansas) or Indian Hills Country Club. Drive 30 minutes to play highly rated Tanenbaum Golf Club. All three are a great value! The top tier courses of Buffalo Ridge and Top of the Rock are a two hour drive away and make a great day trip. Great shopping in Branson as well.
•Fairfield Bay Hart Fitness Center: the 23,000 square foot facility includes a complete fitness center, massage therapy service, and physical therapy service as well as has an indoor pool, indoor track, basketball court, hot tub, and sauna.
•fish for bass, crappie, or walleye on Greers Ferry Lake. Or trout fish on the nearby Little Red River. The Buffalo River and other streams offer great small mouth bass fishing and canoeing.
•shop downtown or at antique shops along hwy 65 at Clinton, Botkinburg, Marshal and Harrison.
•take the shuttle or boat over to Sugar Loaf Mountain and make the easy/mod hike 30 minutes to the top. The view is one of the most beautiful you will ever see.

1. This is a private neighborhood so please be aware of our neighbors with respect to noise, parking of vehicles, and courteous behavior in general. Loud and obnoxious behavior will not be tolerated.
2. Please treat our home with the care that you would treat your own.
3. Please observe check in (4PM) and check out (11AM) as our housekeeper needs time to clean.
4. No Pets – violation will result in forfeiture of all or portion of damage deposit.
5. No smoking inside the home - violation will require ozonation and will result in forfeiture of all or portion of damage deposit
6. Maximum occupancy is 16 people. Responsible party must be 30 years of age or older and present during entire rental period.
7. Public areas must be kept neat. Please keep front of home free of trash, coolers, towels etc.
8. Please deposit all trash in plastic bags and then in receptacle outside the garage. Garbage collectors will not remove loose trash from the containers. Please leave no trash outside of the container as raccoons will make a huge mess. If you check out on Sat or Sun please move trash receptacles to the curb. Thanks for your help with this bit of housekeeping.
9. Temporary Community Club Cards are needed for access to all community pools and Indian Hills Country Club. Please email me the names of all adults and cards will be prepared and can be picked up at the Community Club office. If I don’t receive the names, prior to your arrival, I can’t be responsible for you not having access to the Community Club Amenities.
10. Our decks are very high – No leaning on railings or horseplay on the decks. Small children must be accompanied by an adult when on the decks, at all times. Please wear shoes to avoid splinters. 11. Upon check out please return 1 key to lock box and leave other keys on kitchen counter. Lost keys are $10.

My wife Lori and I built this home in 1998 because we love the Fairfield Bay area. Our two sons grew up playing tennis at the courts 1 block away and wakeboarding and skiing on Greers Ferry Lake.

Why This Property?
I found a wooded lot, at the highest spot in Fairfield Bay, that I thought would have a nice view. When the lot was cleared, it turned out we had a 180 degree view overlooking Sugarloaf Mtn and Greers Ferry! Most people say it is the best they have ever seen. We can see 30 or 40 miles from almost every room in the house.

Unique Benefits
This home is made for family get-togethers. There are two living areas so kids can escape grown ups. We have two decks, both with incredible views. There is a pool table/ping pong table for tournaments and fun. I can't count the number of families that have met here and enjoyed our home. I would be happy to share some of their reviews.
