Charlotte Harbor is the second-largest estuary in Florida, encompassing 270 square miles, yet it is one of the state’s best-kept secrets. Burnt Store Marina provides direct access to this boating wonderland, just south of Tampa, between Sarasota and Naples. As the largest marina on Florida’s west coast, and one of the largest marinas in the state, Burnt Store offers visitors limitless and unrivaled encounters on the water. Sorry, no pets allowed. There is a very nice kennel located near the marina. No fees, just add 11% tax to the posted rate.

Burnt Store Marina while not restricted to adults is mostly a retirement age community. Very laid back in the summer months but quite busy from November through about May. A golf cart is provided with your rental, use at your own risk. Unlicensed drivers should not operate the golf cart.

Why This Property?
I enjoy the gated community and the fact that it is a marina. With two restaraunts on site I find I never have to venture out of the marina at night.
