If you're looking for a peaceful disconnect from the hustle and bustle while still enjoying the modern amenities, this is it! The owner and the property management team were diligent in assisting us with any and all questions we had prior to, as well as during our entire stay. Kelvin met us at one of the local hotels and we followed him to the property. He was patient and gave us a great tour of the villa. The home was pristine clean and perfectly equipped with everything we needed during our entire stay. The flowers and wine provided at check in were also a nice surprise! Thank you again!! Be sure to visit the Bar Jolly Roger just a few minutes below the villa, and try their Rojo wings! Between the electronic main gate, modern security system and the outdoor cameras we felt very safe. The cameras did not encroach on our sense of privacy whatsoever! Can't wait to book again..... Thanks again for an unforgettable stay!
My family and I had the opportunity to stay at this lovely home. The views are amazing and the house is very accommodating. Having new born twins makes it tough to travel and this house covered all the bases, with a lovely pool, huge covered outdoor spaces, all top of the line appliances, loved the outdoor cook station, and all the amenities one has at their fingertips at home. I HIGHLY recommend this team/villa to anyone who is looking to stay in the area as it's close to all the beaches, waterfalls, amazing restaurants, and convenient to take in all the nature and wildlife the region has to offer.
Rented Villa La Luna and had an unbelievable experience. The owner spared no expense in attending to details rivaling 5 star resorts and the local property manager was extremely accommodating. Everything was first class & easy to enjoy. The property and villa are amazing and the views breathtaking, you feel like you are on top of the world. Can't miss with this one-Great job!!
This property is one of those rare finds that leaves you in awe the minute you open the front door. We were blown away by the view, but it was the villa itself (and support staff) that made the stay so amazing. It's perfectly laid out with its fully stocked kitchen, outdoor space great for entertaining, as well as super for relaxing by the pool... which is insanely nice. It was very nice having a couples massage by the pool overlooking the ocean! While there we saw monkeys, toucans, iguanas and sloths. James, the owner, was a pleasure to work with and very attentive throughout our stay along with the local property manager, Kelvin!. My family and I travel the area quite a bit and have the opportunity to stay in other villas but we LOVE Villa la Luna. Without a doubt the nicest home we have ever stayed in. We will be back soon! My family and I would like to write a note of thanks to the owner, the property manager, and to the entire team at Villa la Luna. From our initial reservation request to the communication (before, during and even after our stay) this has been a "simply amazing" and seamless process. We have never traveled out of the country before, and were a little bit concerned to do so. Your team made it very comfortable and easy for us to travel to your beautiful home in Dominical Costa Rica. The reservation process was straight forward, efficient, and we appreciated your quick and thorough responses each and every time...The communications, as far as making travel arrangements, working our way through customs, security, making the connecting flights etc. was superior. Your team was there for us, answered our questions every step of the way....Very delighted to actually get what we paid for, AND THEN SOME! Upon arrival, we were met by your local property manager who was on time, extremely courteous, and very helpful (patient) during our walk through of the Villa, and was also very accessible during our entire stay. To our surprise, the Villa owner even contacted us during our stay to make certain that everything was going well, and to make sure we had everything we needed, and that we were comfortable. Ian (property manager) answered our many questions and even provided guidance on different beaches and shopping areas to visit. We felt like everyone made every effort to make our stay extra special and treated us with courtesy and respect. The road up to the Villa was a little bumpy (no reflection on Villa la Luna), but after the first day it was an easy transition, and the kiddos always enjoyed the ride. I am so glad that your concierge, Juli Harris, recommended that we rent a 4x4 vehicle for our trip. We needed it not only for the road to the Villa but also when making day trips to the area beaches and other area restaurants. We were very relaxed and comfortable traveling to these locations which only made our trip that much better. The villa itself is very secure with its electronically controlled main entry gates, numerous exterior cameras, state of the art security system and interior safe(s) for our belongings. (No cameras intruded on our privacy) In closing, we would like to thank you ALL once again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home, OH! and the speed at which our initial damage deposit was refunded after our check out. GREAT JOB!! Also, thank you again, for the beautiful flowers upon our arrival, and the fresh fruit that was provided from the property during our stay! Thank You, Adam W.
