Why This Property?

We fell in love with Fernandina Beach last year when we stayed in the winter. We bought this home because of the ocean views and close proximity to the beach. (120 steps)

Unique Benefits

The North end of the island is not crowded. our home has really good views of the ocean one short block from beach. The quaint historic town is only 2.5 miles away. The town is dog friendly including the beach.

We had a nice time staying at Mac's place. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning. Peaches loved getting four walks a day on the beach and quiet side streets. Amelia Island is a very dog friendly place. The homeowner was very responsive.

Mac’s Place is an ocean view, monthly rental (This is 28 day minimum rental) , 2 story twin house, ideally located just steps to the beach on beautiful Amelia Island. If you are the kind of person that enjoys breakfast on the back deck with an ocean view watching the sunrise or after dinner sitting on the front deck seeing the sunset this is the place. A short walk (literally 1 minute walk) to the beach for you and the dog. Take a few steps over the dune to set up camp at the beach for a day of swimming, shelling, beach-combing for shark’s teeth and dozing. Run back to the house in minutes for beverage and snack refills. Our home has a deck off the living room as well as the upstairs master bedroom with great ocean views.

THIS IS A NON SMOKERS HOUSE.
Also no vaping.
Mac’s Place is on the quiet North end of the beach that is close to parks, historic fort, located just minutes from downtown Fernandina Beach and harbor (2.5 miles), where shopping and fine dining are plentiful.

This rental offers you relaxed, yet fun filled vacation spot a family will enjoy for years to come. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

The Island has many more amenities as well, such as golf, tennis, miniature golf, fishing pier, and the wonderful Fort Clinch, a Civil War era fort well worth touring.

Your dog is allowed on our beach 24/7, always on a leash. This is a dog friendly property (dogs only with pre-approval). A fenced back yard keeps him/her happy, safe and off leash. This house is not suitable for people with dog allergies.

You will find the interior space comfortable and refreshing with island colors and cottage decor. All cotton sheets and fiber filled duvets on the beds make for comfortable nights. Sheets and all towels included, except beach towels. Complete kitchen, keyless entry, 50 inch cable HD TV, wireless internet, dvd player, central ac and heat.

Ground floor: parking under the house out of the weather, full size washer/dryer, outdoor shower with hot water, some beach chairs, beach umbrella and a fenced back yard.

First floor: living room with sleeper sofa, dining area, kitchen, powder room, front and back decks.

Second floor: master bedroom with private bath and cable TV and ocean view deck. Guest room with private bath.

This is a minimum 28 day rental.
