This eco-friendly cave house lies on the edge of Anaga Rural Park, in the north of the island of Tenerife. Created and run with great respect for the environment, this stunning house for four is the result of many years’ work. It keeps naturally warm and has the use of an outdoor pool and terrace.
In a peaceful farm location, this Eco Suite Cave enjoys some beautiful views. Its sun room is a great spot to watch the night sky – you can even gaze at the stars through a telescope. The surrounding land includes fruit orchards, gardens growing herbs and vegetables and a pool with solarium. Use is shared with the hosts who live close by and are happy to help you during your stay.
With disabled access, a stunning marble bathroom with bath tub and high-end shower complements two sleeping areas. One master bedroom with twin beds, TV and desk, and a loft area above the living space with Japanese-style twin beds. You are guaranteed a great night’s sleep in this quiet environment… you may be surprised how comfortable a cave can be.
There is plenty of room outside to enjoy the sun, including loungers set beside the pool and seating in the gardens. The wider area is well worth exploring, including hiking trails and a climbing school. You can even go hiking with the donkeys who are well looked after on the farm and, by doing so, help fund their protection.
Many villages are located within the rugged Anaga Rural Park, the diverse ecosystems of which provide the habitat of numerous animal and plant species. This conservation area is one of the highlights of the island, and now forms a popular attraction for visitors.
The house lies within a short drive of Santa Cruz de Tenerife city, a good-looking mix of old and new, with botanic gardens, a natural history museum and sandy beaches among its attractions. Further south, the volcanic landscapes of the Teide National Park provide spectacular sights you may not expect – undoubtedly worth the trip.

Macaronesian Caves Eco Suites is the story of a dream, a way of seeing and understanding life and our relationship in harmony with the environment, the result after 11 years of creative work is now at your fingertips.
Eco suite cave is housed on a farm of 8,000 m2, of which 1500 are currently available for the guests, divided into several areas; pool, garden, gardens, etc.
Our eco-friendly housing, stands out because all the intervention has been done with respect for the environment, being the least invasive as possible.
We have followed the patterns of bioclimatic architecture and zero kilometer architecture, reusing 90% of the water consumed and then using it for irrigation, soon also will produce our own energy.
One of the advantages of staying at the eco cave suite is that the average annual temperature is 21º, our accommodation without energy expenditure.
