We absolutely loved this place. The location was just beautiful, just a few feet away from a good sized pond. The area was deserted since it was late Oct so we had the place to ourselves, wish we could have stayed longer. Great central location for Cape destinations. The bed was also very comfortable and the cottage was charming.
We spent a lovely thanksgiving in Sea Glass Cottage. Our 5 and 7 year old loved being out on the Kayaks and riding their bikes through the nearby woods. Our family dog loved it as well! It is a cosy, neat, little cottage in a quiet location, with only a short walk from a beautiful lake but also close to other tourist spots which are worth a visit as well. The cottage has everything you need - comfortable bedding and linen, excellent heating, good wifi coverage and the kitchen was well equipped for our thanksgiving lunch. The owner provided great customer services during our stay - we received a couple texts to welcome us and to ensure we were having a great time. When we lost power for the best part of a morning, she was extremely helpful in keeping us informed as to what had happened and when it would come back on. The sea glass candy that she left out for us was also a nice touch!
My husband and I along with our Pug stayed recently at Sea Glass Cottage. The cottage is just amazing: comfortable, clean, and classy. The decorating is tastefully done, but you never feel uncomfortable while it has all the amenities of home. Once you have settled in, you feel like you never want to leave. The location is superb: quiet with the pond always in view, but still close to anyplace you want to go, IF you want to leave the cottage at all ! I wonderful stay !
July 11, 2015 Helpful votes:0/0 Cleanliness and age of the home when I rent are very important to me. When I read that everything was new down to the studs I was sold. Loved the way it was decorated and it was a perfect size for my two teenage boys and me. Absolutely loved that a pristine pond was right outside my door and the use of the kayaks was awesome. Didn't even know there was a washer and dryer and was thrilled. Also, loved the rain shower outside!
The cottage is on a quiet street but close to everything we needed! The pond is very cute with great trails for dogs all around it. The cottage itself was very clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely. All the comforts of home! We had an unfortunate occurrence while we were there.....my husband mistook our dirty clothes bag for trash and threw it in the trash canister out back! I did not realize we were missing our clothes until we were home, 4 hours away. We contacted Aruna and in less than 24 hours she is sending them via mail to us! Very considerate! Stay at this cottage....it is special!
