Located in Wawona (a location worth visiting on its own), the cabin is just 1000’ from South Fork of the Merced River. The cabin includes a sunny 650 square foot deck equipped with a gas barbecue. A portion of the deck is covered for enjoyment in all seasons. The cabin is pet friendly and provides free telephone calls throughout the US and several countries!, satellite TV and Hi Speed WI-FI access. The community of Wawona offers fabulous swimming and fishing in the S. Fork of the Merced River and nearby creeks, golf, tennis, horseback riding, stagecoach rides, summer barn dances, waterfalls and hiking. It is located about 10 minutes from the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias and less than an hour from all Yosemite Valley has to offer. In the winter, Badger Pass (about 40 minutes away), offers skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and Cross Country ski tours.
Also, if booked within 30 days of arrival, and you only require a single bedroom it may be rented as a 1 bedroom unit for additional savings. Please contact us directly and indicate your requested dates and number of guests to assure you receive the best rates.
Our cabin is managed by a property management office which provides it with maintenance personnel, housekeeping, check-in desk and all necessary services. The management company also sets all rates for our property, and handles all rental transactions directly with the guest. If you do wish to reserve our cabin please contact us directly to assure you are receiving the very best rate.
There is a 2-night minimum stay requirement during low and mid seasons, and a 3-night stay minimum during high season and holidays, but if you are interested in a single-day or two-day rental and you see a vacant day or two in the reservations calendar sandwiched in between reserved days, we might be able to accommodate your request. Our family purchased the Cabin in 1954. During a freak snowstorm in 1996 a tree fell on the unoccupied cabin, dislodged the propane water and started a fire.
