Hip: We decorated this condo for maximum comfort and feeling like you are in a hip, local funky home. Lots of local art and comfortable furniture to hang out on. Make yourself a cocktail in front or grill some fresh fish from the Lil Fisherman (right there on Magazine) with a cold beer in back. This place is designed for hanging out and feeling like a local.
Best Location: There is no better location in New Orleans. It is quiet and historic, but with everything you need at your fingertips. Watch the parades and walk back to use the bathroom or chill out. Wander through the shops and eat your way through town without needing a cab or a car. This is the Irish Channel... a historical and eclectic neighborhood with all the funk you need within a few blocks. Plenty of parking in front.
True New Orleans Living: Whether you just want to hang out in the condo and read or go listen to brass bands til 3AM, this condo lets you do it all. Your neighbors all live and work in New Orleans and there are very few tourists around. You can truly feel and live like a local.

Why This Property?
We love places with character and this is it. We renovated all three condos in the triplex and sold two - keeping one for ourselves. It is the BEST part of Magazine street and is just a bright, warm, welcoming place to stay.

This place is so special. First of all, it is in the historic Irish Channel and is in old slave quarters. It is easily over 140 years old. If you want to feel like a local... this is it.

I lived in New Orleans 35+ years ago and always wanted to return. My husband & I rented from Jen and she was great to work with around arrival time (late p.m.) to offering to allow us to stay late on departure day. The condo is perfect for an enjoyable stay. It has everything you will need to make your stay perfect but is within walking distance of a nice Whole Foods Market as well as the many wonderful places on Magazine Street. You must try Community Coffee and a Po-Boy (every place makes their own version-our favorites are roast beef with debris (gravy & fried shrimp fully dressed ). Set in a nice quiet neighborhood the back patio is a wonderful place to spend the evening and the air conditioning makes sleeping heavenly on humid evenings. We look forward to renting this condo again. Meg & Marty Bressette
