We currently live in Cincinnati OH. The picture comes from our many years in London, England. Our grown children also got a bit of the travel bug and are now spread around the globe -- Palo Alto CA, Beijing China, and London UK. Hilton Head is in our blood. Why This Property?
Our house has been in the Leavitt family since Ted's father bought the property from Charles Fraser on a hunting trip in the early 1960s. We bought the house in 1998 and then did a complete renovation in order to bring the house up to date. Unique Benefits
Having come to Hilton Head since 1962, our house reflects the dichotomy of a modern version of an original Sea Pines beach cottage with the simplicity of beach life. We personally feel the privacy of our setting is a unique benefit, but each person will have their own viewpoint.

Perfect Family Getaway

Iโ€™m always hesitant to write a good review of a nice placeโ€”itโ€™s just selfishness and a sense of wanting to keep the secret to myself. What made this a memorable family vacation: 1. Cool comfortable beds, with good linens. 2. Lots of TVS and an owner who went above and beyond to ensure the remotes were working. 3. A beautiful ocean front pool which allowed us to go beach-pool-beach-pool all week. 4. Short easy walk to the beach. 5. Easy proximity to restaurants and spot on recommendations from the owner. 6. Wi-fi throughout this multi-level house. 7. Perfect kitchen that allowed for cooking and eating together as a family. 8. Tucked at end of road which allowed for a tucked away, secluded atmosphere. 9. Air conditioning that worked like a champ. Lots of fans, books, pool toys, beach chairs that the owner was willing to share. 10. Attention to detailโ€”owner was willing to answer all of our questions both before and during the stay. This truly made us feel at home. Great vacation with our family. Thanks for sharing your beautiful beach house with our family.

Older home that has been well taken care of. Great location. Very spacious and we liked that the master was โ€œsecluded โ€œ Kids loved the pool and we were right on the beach. Also loved hearing ocean!

Sea Pines holiday

This house accommodated our family as well as guests coming in for the day. Everyone had their own rooms and we had some separation from the kids :-) We loved the pool and the breeze is knocked out by the dunes which helped out for our February vacation. The location is perfect in Sea Pines - a short drive to the Salty Dog as well as Sea Pines golfing. The couple of issues we had was handled immediately by Ted- great communication!

Great family getaway!

Our family likes to have a group vacation every two years and this was a great way to enjoy our trip. The house was in a perfect location with gorgeous views... the pictures on the website canโ€™t do it justice! Each couple had their own space, with a large gathering space for us all. We donโ€™t usually repeat our vacation sites, but we may have to make an exception in this case. The home owner was extremely helpful and answered all our questions... it was much appreciated!
