While in law school at Florida State I had a chance to intern in Key West---and have been coming back ever since. Our private, tropical property is unique--beach, dock, Straits-- and offers a true Keys experience.

Call or email Richard to discuss reservation details. Located directly on the Atlantic, this secluded home fronts one of the few natural sand beaches in the Florida Keys. The 150 foot long wooden dock has been rebuilt.. Sit and enjoy the sea breezes, watch the moon rise, or gaze out over the Florida Straits---you can almost see Cuba!. Fish for the grand slam on the flats: tarpon/bonefish/permit. Hunt for lobster and stone crabs, or spear snapper and grouper. Outside the reef, hook dolphin, sailfish, tuna, wahoo and more. Or fish the back country to the Gulf. Dive the patch reefs right off shore, or take a boat to nearby Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary, the best coral reef in the Keys. The dock has mooring whips for securing a 20’ flats boat. 2 kayaks are available. Boat rentals are available at the end of the street. Long Beach is located adjacent to a wildlife refuge and there are many birds such as Great Herons, Egrets, Ibis and Brown Pelicans for your viewing pleasure. Key Deer frequent Long Beach and can be seen almost any day in the early morning and at dusk on the beach or as you bicycle on quiet Long Beach Drive. 2 bikes, charcoal grill included.
French doors, ceiling fans, hardwood and Mexican tile floors, tasteful antique furniture, wraparound balcony and tropical colors accentuate this open, breezy home. A great room with beamed ceiling and a huge screened porch have beautiful views of the ocean and palm tree covered beach. There are 2 upstairs bedrooms (master has a king bed and a guest with 2 double beds), 2 baths and a large, open brand new kitchen with a professional gas range top for serious cooks. A perfect vacation home with a satellite dish TV’s, Wireless Internet, central A/C, washer/dryer. Three miles to downtown Big Pine Key for all your shopping needs. Close to Bahia Honda State Park (with one of Florida’s best beaches) this island home is very private and quiet yet only 25 minutes by Overseas Highway to Key West. Marathon, located across the 7 Mile Bridge, is about the same distance. This palm laden, private, beachfront spot is truly unique!
