From our condo, the beach is 'at your doorstep'... no long boardwalks or dragging beach chairs and coolers across miles of sand, parking lots, or street crossings.
Crystal Shores was built in 2004 and is a low density building with a large beach area. We are surrounded by restaurants, grocery stores and activities for the children. The area is quiet and family oriented. Walk to the Hangout, Sea & Suds, Pink Pony and lots of great shops! Beautiful views!
We have a very clean and newly re-decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium. This smoke-free, pet-free, condo sleeps 5-6 comfortably. The kitchen is well stocked and has beautiful granite tops. There is queen size bed in the master bedroom and this bedroom has an adjoining full bath. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed and has a private shower/tub adjoining bathroom. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the den.
The master bedroom and living room both have sliding glass doors that open to your beach front balcony. The balcony has a patio table and chairs and 2 recliners where you can sit back and watch the waves roll in. There is also a full size washer/dryer.
On site, there is an in-door/out-door pool connected by a swim-through feature, game room, exercise room, sauna, and assigned covered parking. Indoor pool is heated. FREE WIFI internet service.
At beach-side, come take a dip in the swim-through indoor/outdoor heated pool and hot tub. What a fabulous way to enjoy the beautiful sunshine and stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
After you swim, soak in the sauna, baste in the sun, then top off you day at the grill where you can cook steaks and any fish that may have found their way onto your hook!
Great shopping nearby which include the Tanger Outlet Mall, Target, Wal-Mart, lots of beach/souvenir/special stores etc...
If you are a golfer, there are LOTS of very nice golf courses in the area... There is also lots of delicious food served at various restaurants in the area, water park, a zoo, miniature golf, Tract Amusement Park... etc. Details on all these sites/activities can be obtained when you arrive from the visitors center located very close to this condo on Highway 59.
This is a NON-smoking unit, NO pets allowed, NO exceptions!
*** I primarily rent by the week... Saturday to Saturday. There my be some exceptions to fill last minute holes on my calendar.

Reviews
Can only echo other reviewers: Location was great--seafood shops, restaurants, and beach night spots within walking distance. You can walk for miles in either direction on the beach. Melanie had the place spotless and we encountered no negative issues during our weeklong stay. Spacious for a couple like us -pleanty of room to spread out. Ninth floor sounds way up, but we were on ground level in under a minute; besides, the view was outstanding from the balcony, which was equipped with table, chairs and a chaise. Certainly hope to stay again.
This Condo was nicer than what I had anticipated. Could not have asked for a better Condo. Clean, beautiful, and everything we needed. BUT,,, the best part is the view...... You hear about million dollar views... This has it. We all spent quite a bit of time just watching and listening to the waves and beach. I slept on the balcony one night, my daughter did another night.. Love the sound of the waves. Gulf Shores beach is truly one of Gods Creations that everyone should have the opportunity to experience and Melanie's Condo is a great place to experience it.
This residence exceeded expectations and is the best place I have stayed in Gulf Shores. The furniture was comfortable and in good condition, and the kitchen is stocked with everything a person needs to prepare meals. The views from the balcony are amazing and the balcony has a table with four tall chairs. Melanie was great to work with through the rental process and an owner that takes pride in the property. If you want an outstanding time in Gulf Shores, stay at this condo!
Our family of 5 certainly enjoyed our stay at Melanie's condo. It was very clean and well kept. The master bedroom had a brand new mattress in it which was very comfortable. My teenage daughters said the guest bed was very comfortable as well. My son slept on the sleeper sofa. He is 6'0 and said he said he slept well for a sleeper sofa. The kitchen had lots of dishes and supplies for cooking that my wife utilized at least 2 meals per day. Thank goodness, there was NO carpet! The view was magnificent! We had a direct view of the beach and we observed beautiful sunrises and sunsets each day. We even got to watch some dolphins swimming in the ocean on a few occasions. The condo is a very short walk to the beach. The condo is very close to all the activities but far enough away for privacy. Our family actually walked to dinner twice. There was a nice convenience store right across the street that had lots of food and basic stuff too. The weather was a bit cold in the evenings but fairly warm during the days. Melanie was a pleasure to work with throughout or rental experience. We stayed at her other condo at Harbour Place in the past. We enjoyed both of her condos and will be back!
