My 3-bedroom newly remodeled Spanish Style house in La Quinta is located in one of the very best gated communities in the desert. The Puerta Azul community is a favorite destination for vacation renters due to its secluded location, friendly and relaxing atmosphere and resort-style features.
The house is a detached 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom Spanish style villa providing accommodation for up to 6 people. High ceilings and large windows give an airy, spacious, relaxed feel. The house was remodeled at the beginning of 2015 and all photos are recent.
BEDROOMS: Two bedrooms contain queen beds and the third bedroom contains a trundle bed and doubles as an office. A large, luxurious bathroom with travertine shower and bath adjoins the master bedroom. The master and second bedroom have flat screen TVs with DVD players and cable service.
KITCHEN: The kitchen contains all the cookware and appliances required to satisfy even the most expert cooks. The stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and a full compliment of new cookware make cooking a real pleasure!
LIVING AND DINING AREA: The living and dining room is adjoined to the kitchen. The large 6-seat dining table is excellent for family meals and entertaining. Comfortable couches, a gas fireplace and flat screen TV with DVD library make the living area perfect to relax at the end of the day. Additional entertainment includes various board games and a telescope for stargazing.
OFFICE: For those who wish to work a little while at the house, the third bedroom doubles as an office. The leather topped desk and gas fireplace make this quiet corner of the house a great space to work. The house has broadband Wi-Fi connection and inkjet printer.
OUTDOORS: Breakfast or lunch on the patio with a view of the mountains is a real treat. For those who enjoy grilling, a 5-burner propane grill is provided. A second patio with seating is outside the large sliding doors of the master bedroom.
COMMUNITY AMENITIES: All guests have full privileges to the community amenities including the Great House (where you'll find a workout room, pool table, ping-pong table, board games, TV area and dining facilities), two pools with hot tubs, a tennis court and badminton court. Pool towels are provided in the house.

Why This Property?
I looked at about 40 properties in the area before deciding to buy this house. I was immediately impressed with the spacious rooms, high ceilings, numerous high-end features and attractive surroundings. The house is at the west end of Puerta Azul which is furthest from the entrance and is one of the best locations in the area.
