Newly updated and located in the desirable Pine Haven community off Wears Valley Rd in Pigeon Forge. Perfect for families with children, the cabin is located on a PRIVATE cul-de-sac shared with only 5 other cabins. The cabin is less than 5 minutes (2.6 miles) from the Parkway at Light #3 in Pigeon Forge and only 12 miles from Gatlinburg. You can access McGill St next to our neighborhood to avoid the usual headache and traffic of the Parkway during busy times. If you're looking for the ideal log cabin getaway experience, Smoky's Retreat is just the place you're looking for. Where else can you stay and feel like a kid again spending the night in a TREE HOUSE?
If you’re tired of renting cabins that require endless zig zagging and perilous climbs up roads along with never ending walkways or porch steps where you think you need a mountain goat to access your cabin then you’ll be delighted by the very EASY DRIVE to get to Smoky's Retreat. Well maintained roads lead to the cabin with flat parking for up to 3 large vehicles.
Feel free to enjoy a romantic dinner in the Dining Room or a quick snack at the breakfast bar. Plus we have plenty of seating for up to 10 guests (8 at the bar height table and 2 bar stools at the breakfast bar) when you cook your family’s meal or grill out on the charcoal grill. After dinner you can sit back and enjoy the fireplace or the views of the mountains while sipping a cup of hot cocoa or watching your favorite movie on the flat screen TV in the great room.
You can challenge your pals to shoot some pool on our BRAND NEW custom pool table or play a few rounds of Galaga or Centipede on our BRAND NEW Stand-up 60 game MULTICADE ARCADE in the upstairs game room. It is perfect for those who want to entertain or sit back and relax. Also there is a private reading area in Smoky's Den located in the loft area with a comfy leather couch and chairs.
If relaxation is what you are looking for then step out to our secluded and private deck. Here you will find both open and covered areas so you may enjoy the outdoors no matter what the weather brings. The covered 6 person hot tub is nestled in the corner so you can enjoy the same great views. You may drink your morning coffee while enjoying the views from the rocking chairs or head over to the other side which is covered for a quick snack or meal at the patio table and chairs. This is great for a private meal with your loved ones.
For when you decide to retire for the evening, Smoky's Retreat offers 2 King Master Suites on the main level. ~ The Leaf Room offers a King Tempur-Pedic Memory Foam mattress, 32' flat screen tv, faux fireplace is for ambiance only (NOT a heat source), 2 person jetted Jacuzzi tub, private bathroom with walk-in shower along with a spacious closet for the storage of your belongings. ~ The second King Master Suite, The Fisherman’s Room, features a King Tempur-Pedic Memory Foam mattress, picture windows with hand carved mountain scenes, 28' flat screen tv, shared bathroom, and access to the deck. ~ The third bedroom, The Fish Whisperer’s Room, offers a queen size Tempur-Pedic bed, 28' flat screen tv, along with the same great furnishings and decorations. For the younger guests you will find a queen size sleeper sofa in the great room and one upstairs in Smoky’s den. **Since pillows can be subjective, I highly recommend bringing your own just in case you don’t like the ones provided.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: (if your question is not answered here, please feel free to email us)
1. How many does the cabin sleep? 10. With 2 King BRs, 1 Queen BR, 2 sleepers and only 2 full bathrooms our max occupancy is 10 people per city codes. Children/babies, no matter the age, count as a person. Going over occupancy risks the Fire Department EVICTING you and running out of hot water! NO refunds will be given for being EVICTED by FD or PD. Only PARKING for 3 vehicles. Others will be towed by HOA.
2. Do you allow pets? – No. Under NO circumstances do we allow pets or any animals. We strive to be a safe place for those families seeking an ALLERGEN FREE rental due to health reasons. Make sure to message for Peanut allergies. The cabin is also equipped with an UV air purifier system that uses ultraviolet germicidal UV light that destroys living airborne pathogens such as viruses and bacteria. If you are found sneaking in ANY animal you will be EVICTED with NO refund since you are jeopardizing future guests health. This is due to anaphylactic responses with my youngest child. Also the credit card used to reserve will be charged $750, which is my cost to have a deep clean of the cabin and carpets cleaned. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made!!
3. What time is check-in and check-out? – You may check in any time after 3pm and must checkout prior to 10am on the day of your departure.
4. What views to expect from cabin? There are NO mountain views off the deck. Expect to have a mostly treed view like being in a “treehouse”.
5. When will I get the door code? – The day of checkin when the cabin is ready. A new code is generated at this time for every guest.
6. Is the hot tub cleaned after every stay? – YES! Our hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled for every stay. We do have a Whole Home Water Softener and Carbon Filter. This will cause the water to feel silky smooth and not dry out your skin while you soak in the hot tub or take a shower.
7. What Linens are included? – We provide professionally laundered and sanitized linens for beds, bath towels, and wash cloths. A total of 10 bath towels are provided. Highly recommend bringing beach towels with you for the hot tub or if you plan on participating in any water activities while in town or if you have a towel hog in the group.
8. Do you have a washer and dryer? Yes we have a brand new washer and dryer. Don’t forget to bring your laundry detergent.
9 What household supplies are provided? – We get you started with 1 roll of paper towels, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, mini dish detergent, 1 dishwasher pod, 1 laundry detergent pod, 2 kitchen trash bags, and a travel size bar of soap per bath.
10. What does the kitchen include? –The kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect in a kitchen plus a blender, toaster, various size pots & pans and coffee makers (both Cusinart drip-style and Keurig offered). Dining for 10 between 8 at bar height table and 2 additional bar stools at counter. Oh, did I mention that there is a Kroger and Publix grocery store across the street from each other less than 2.6 miles down from the cabin!
11. Do you provide fire wood? No need, our Great Room fireplace runs on gas. Operational Oct 1-March 1. Master bedroom faux fireplace is for ambiance only and NOT a heat source.
12. Do you provide a grill? – Yes! It is a camp style charcoal grill. Don’t forget to bring your charcoal and lighter!
13. Are Fire Pits allowed? – Fire pits are NOT allowed anywhere on the property
14. Is this cabin secluded? – Smoky’s Retreat is located on .65 acres and shares a private drive with 5 other cabins along with being located on a cul-de-sac. The back deck is very private with no other cabins being viewable from the deck.
15. Where is this cabin located? – Smoky’s Retreat is only 2.6 miles off the Parkway at Light #3 in Pigeon Forge which is Wears Valley Rd. You will be in the heart of Pigeon Forge along with being down the road from The Island (3.1 miles), Dollywood (6.5 miles), Gatlinburg (11.8 miles), Tanger Outlet Mall in Sevierville (5 miles), Cal Ripken Baseball Park (3.7 miles), Wears Farm Baseball Field (a mile away & almost across the street from neighborhood) and The University of Tennessee (28.3 miles).
16. What type of internet to you provide? – We offer Comcast/Xfinity cable service with unlimited high speed wifi. You can also access all your favorite apps like Netflix, or Hulu on every TV with the use of your subscription from home.
17. How do cancellations work? – Cancellations that are made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date will be fully refunded. Cancellations or changes that are made between 60 and 30 days of the arrival date are refunded at 50%. Any cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date are non-refundable.
18. Do you waive the cancellation policy for bad weather? – Refunds are NOT given for bad weather conditions. Travel Insurance is HIGHLY recommended during winter months or if you live in a hurricane zone that would prevent your travel
19. Do you provide travel insurance? – No. If you need more flexibility than the stated cancellation policy, we do recommend the purchase of Cancellation Protection or a more generous policy that is known as CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason).

Why This Property?
We purchased this cabin because we LOVE the great location!!! You can be in the center of everything if you want within 5 minutes or you can stay secluded in the mountains if you chose to do that too. 'Mountain View' is in our address for a reason. Plus there are no winding roads to get stuck on. There is a Kroger's and Publix grocery store less than 2 miles from the cabin to get all last minute i

We purchased this cabin because we LOVE the great location!!! You can be in the center of everything if you want within 5 minutes or you can stay secluded in the mountains if you chose to do that too. 'Mountain View' is in our address for a reason. Plus there are no winding roads to get stuck on. There is a Kroger's and Publix grocery store less than 2 miles from the cabin to get all last minute items so you don't even have to get on the parkway or fight traffic to get to it. Also where our cabin is located on a private cul-da-sac, our three small children can run and play outside for hours. Our family loves this cabin and we think your family will too!!!

It's 2.6 miles to the Parkway at Light 3 in Pigeon Forge...less than 5 minutes. I love the kitchen for making meals at the cabin, the WIFI for checking emails, the spacious bedrooms and memory foam beds for a good night's sleep...the private covered porches...the two person jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom...the extra large 6-8 person private hot tub...and the feeling that you're up in a tree house looking out to the mountains through the trees. It's so private and peaceful. It truly can't get any better than this!

Very spacious and clean! We loved how quiet and serene the cabin is yet so close to everything! The trolley evens stops close by! Close to both Publix and Kroger! Great neighborhood for the morning walk too! Will definitely stay again! Thanks so much Alicia for answering all of our questions!

"Are we there yet" driving down became "can we go back yet?" while heading home. We spent our spring break from Michigan at Smoky's Retreat. We could not have asked for a better time there! Alicia was more than helpful and answered any and all questions we had. This was our first vacation rental and we are so glad we found this place. You will not regret your stay here!

Booked a last minute weekend family get together trip to Pigeon Forge. Stayed at this cabin and it was excellent! Kids and adults enjoyed the game room upstairs, and the hot tub on the back deck. Lots of windows for viewing mountains. Cabin was decorated for the Christmas season, and wood work on inside gave the real cabin feel!!! Owners were super helpful and accommodating! Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay, and close to everything. Thanks for sharing you cabin!
