Zappies Place is fully licensed with a special vacation rental permit from Monroe County, Florida. License copy is available for your piece of mind. There is a canoe by the beach for your enjoyment. Please use proper floatation devises whenever you venture out on the canoe.

Watch your favorite show of listen to your favorite music and enjoy the beautiful evenings in Key Largo. Zappie's is a fully licenesed short term rental in Key Largo. That means that we have applied and received all necessary permits and licenses from the county of Monroe and the State of Florida necessary for short term (under one month) rentals. Feel free to ask for a copy of our license. We have manager that is available full time to assist you and answer any questions or concerns you may have.

I was working for General Foods many years ago. Looking for a different lifestyle, I traveled to Key Largo in 1989 and purchased this property. Many thought I was crazy giving up on a good corporate job and moving to the keys. Others envied my decision and secretly wanted to do the same. You also have your very own patio downstairs complete with TV. Enjoy the evenings outdoors with a barbeque and finish up the night with your very own pool table in our screened 2nd floor patio area. The property itself is almost 1 full acre with many tropical hardwoods scattered about. You can go down to the water and use our canoe to explore florida bay or just take a dip in the Florida bay water. There are no less the 7 restaurants within walking distance of the property.
