Our Lake Michigan home has only a few steps to the beach and a viewing deck with stairs to the beach (Top 10 Beach Towns in America AOL Travel News). Our residence is about 1/4 mile off of M22 in a very private area without any public access. The home offers (6 bedrooms) 3 bedrooms with each having a private bathroom and shower. The other two (2) bedrooms are on the second floor, the other is a bunk room (2 twin beds, and a bunk bed).
Watch the kids from the deck and enjoy your vacation. Just a short drive to Leland and North-port, as well many of the local vineyards (Top 10 Places to enjoy Local Wines USA Today).
Restaurants and other local flavors all within reach (Top 5 Foodie Towns in America Bonn Appetite).
Our home which has a beautiful flower garden with a pathway to our viewing deck that overlooks the beach. An outside shower gives those wanting to be a bit closer to nature a very peaceful experience.
Enjoy swimming in Lake Michigan as well as the many activities that the lake has to offer. Paddle boarding, Kayaking, canoeing, sailing.
Enjoy the privacy that the beach has to offer, and for those wanting to walk into Leland for some shopping or an ice cream treat or bicycling (6 Best Cities for a Bike Vacation).
Leland has a great deal to offer those who just want to stay close. The ferry in Leland can take those wanting to explore the Manitou Islands for day long hiking trips or over night camping stays.
The home is also close to a great deal of Michigan's natural treasures. Just to mention a few are Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake-shore that rises almost 500 feet from the lake. The lake-shore park also has many hiking trails for those wanting a bit more excitement. Traverse City is also home to the Cherry Festival each year and the Traverse City Movie Festival. Recently Traverse City was named 'Best Summer Trips 2012' by National Geographic.

The Leelanau peninsula area is one of the most beautiful areas in the country. Several years ago Good Morning America had their viewers vote and the Sleeping bear Dunes was voted as the most beautiful. The surrounding small towns give you that nostalgic feeling of going back in time.The location is perfect, and the beach will take your breathe away. Our home and beach is in a very private location. There is no public access for miles. The house sits just slightly on a bluff with two separate accesses to the beach. One a few steps to the sand and the other atop a viewing deck with stairs going to the beach and fire pit.

Our home is directly on Lake Michigan with a panoramic view of the Manitou Islands. We recently completely renovated our home to include a gourmet kitchen for those who love to cook. The beach is clean and very sandy. Our home sits on a very low bluff, which allows those who may not be able to tackle the stairs the ability to enjoy the beach as well. We recently completely renovated our home to make your stay even more enjoyable. A lot of attention was put into our kitchen for everyone to enjoy.
Our home is about a half mile off of M22, and quite enough that you do not hear any noise from the main road.

My family and I had the pleasure of enjoying our 5th year staying in this beautiful home with the most stunning views of Lake MI, private white sandy beaches, and spectacular sunsets.. However this year surpassed them all as the owner recently completed a home remodel / expansion that left us speechless upon entering. The open floor concept (with floor to ceiling windows facing the water) between the chef's kitchen (huge island seats 7+) and living room creates a feeling of being right on the water even when inside and provides plenty of space for everyone to relax, find a quiet seat or gather around the kitchen for mealtime fun. Brand new flooring, walls, ceilings, multiple high end bathrooms, bedrooms, 2nd floor TV / lounge area which was perfect for the kids, is all beautifully done. This home is impeccably clean, organized and stocked with fresh towels / linens. The owner is always quick to respond to questions and eager to make sure his visitors are enjoying themselves. We have fallen in love with this home, the gorgeous beach, private view of lake MI and have created memories with our 3 kids and parents that will last a lifetime. This is a true escape to an UpNorth paradise that we look forward to visiting again next summer. Thank you!
