The photograph is the original homestead built in 1911 for a former Wanganui mayor. The property has been extended and was operated as a rest-home for elder care prior to us purchasing it. All the facilities are suitable for disabled guests and the ensuites offer a wet-area shower. We'd love to meet you and enjoy showing you around.
Why This Property?
We previously operated a Bed and Breakfast property north of Wanganui and moving back into the city has been wonderful. Hikurangi StayPlace is so close to the city and the many things that happen here. Beautiful beaches, lovely lakes and rivers, good shopping, vibrant cafes and bars and a lot of history.
