The studio has teak ceilings, and charming decorative details. It has beautiful light from the five large windows looking out to the pool.ย You will sleep comfortably in the large King size bed. El Gekko is perfect for a single person or a couple. ย The studio is fully furnished with AC, Wifi internet, personal safe, ย sitting area andย only a few stepsย to the pool area.
We live on the on the property as your private concierge to help you with recommendations on restaurants, tours, live music, shopping etc. or anything you might need in room ie; towels, maintenance.
Our neighborhood is ( we think) in the perfect location. Tucked in the jungle just 350 meters from main road, in a quiet neighborhood, but just 2 minutes from everything.

Manuel Antonio is the perfect introduction to Costa Rica. Spectacular views, activities, tours, restaurants and the local wildlife is everywhere. If you want some adventure you can travel through the palm plantations on an ATV, river raft down the rushing river, or zipline through the canopy. If you want more of a relaxing experience enjoy a massage in your room with our massage therapist who comes to the property. If you prefer the spa experience there are many spas in Manuel Antonio. Yoga is a great way to release any of the stress you want to leave at home. If you would like to practice on the property we do have an instructor that does private lessons or you can join a class over looking the Pacific Ocean. The wildlife is everywhere and you are sure to see monkeys, sloths, and iguanas during your stay at Jungle Creek. The National Park is a must-see where you are almost guaranteed to see it all with a guided tour which is informational and fun.
The national motto in Costa Rica, "Pura Vida" sums up the culture and atmosphere you will experience during your stay in Manuel Antonio. The literal translation for Pura Vida is Pure Life.ย But everyone in Costa Rica uses it as a greeting or a way of saying good bye, etc.ย People say that the surfers brought that phrase here in the sixties and it was said to express the love of the simple and pure lifestyle.ย You will hear it a lot once you get here. My boyfriend and I stayed in the El Gekko Large Studio vacation rental at Jungle Creek for a week in May and absolutely loved everything about it! Paula was very helpful and friendly from the time we booked the studio back in January 2017 until the day we checked out. She answered all of our questions, gave us suggestions on places to eat and even helped us arrange excursions and planned an entire itinerary for the week we stayed in Manuel Antonio. She even checked on us throughout the week to make sure we were having the best stay possible. When we arrived at Jungle Creek we were greeted with this large studio, which is way bigger than the pictures by the way, and a lovely basket of snacks along with helpful information about the property and the area. Even though we ate out most days we did get to cook a little in the studio kitchen which was perfect to make breakfasts in the morning. We were greeted almost daily by Paula and Clark's adorable dogs Suzie and Goldie, they even guided us to a waterfall behind the property. It was also really nice to come back from a long hot day sightseeing to a calm outdoor space including a pool. I would highly recommend anyone looking to visit the Manuel Antonio area to stay at Jungle Creek. I can't say enough about how much we loved staying there and hope to come back one day with friends and or family and stay in the one of larger rental units.
We stayed at Jungle Creek May 6th-13th in the El Gecko studio unit. we cannot say enough great things about Jungle Creek, and the owners Clark and Paula. The property is gorgeous with lush vegetation everywhere you look. The room was extremely clean, very well laid out and had everything needed to relax and enjoy your time there. the pool right outside our door was an added plus, as well as the patio area to sit and relax. The owners only added to our enjoyment as they were very attentive to our needs, provided restaurant suggestions, booked different tours for us, and were always willing to just chat with us to see how our trip was going. I would highly recommend Jungle Creek to anyone considering the Manuel Antonio area....would definitely stay here again.
We stayed in El Gekko at Jungle Creek Villas for our honeymoon and could not have been happier with our experience. The room was very cute, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The California King size bed was awesome! The villas are secluded and back up right to the rain forest but still close to everything you'd want to do in Manuel Antonio. We saw toucans, sloths, and macaws right from the patio! What really makes this place truly wonderful though is Paula's hospitality. She was very friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and helped us book all of our tours at discounted rates! She also is a great resource for transportation and restaurant recommendations. Count on feeling right at home here!
Paula is a wonderful hostess. We stayed in the "El Gekko" studio for a week without a car. She arranged tours for us ahead of time. She also had a very helpful book in the room with local restaurants and activities. Our room was perfectly comfortable. The studio was large with a sitting area, a comfortable bed, and a nice kitchen. It was steps away from a nice pool and patio. Macaws, toucans and monkeys were regular visitors. We stayed another 2 weeks in Costa Rica at other vacation rentals. Jungle Creek was by far the best! We'd love to return with our whole family! Kay and John
My husband and I spent a week in the El Gekko studio rental. It was perfect for 2 (and there is actually a gekko that lives on the stairs). The unit has a small kitchen, air conditioning, a sitting area, and a full bathroom. When we arrived, the property had lots of monkeys jumping around and a boa hanging out on the bananas. We were welcomed warmly and given a tour of the property. There are very helpful resources to help plan your trip located in the rooms. We started with a hike to the waterfall through the jungle, which did not disappoint. Perhaps the best thing about staying at Jungle Creek, however, are the people. Clark and Paula were extremely helpful throughout our stay. They even checked in with us when we didn't return after multiple hours. I would feel 100% comfortable sending my family and friends to stay at Jungle Creek, and I will most certainly go back myself.
