Luxury 5-room villa of 160 m2 situated on private property of 4 hectares. With a heated swimming pool of 12x5 meters. Classification: A comfortable and nicely furnished living / dining room (55m2), a DVD player, exit to the terrace with fireplace, Satellite LCD / HD television and radio (with many Dutch, Belgian, German, French and English channels) to the heated pool (1 upper level, reached by beautiful stone staircase). 3 bedrooms with 2 double beds (twin) or grand lit. 1 bedroom with two single beds. Open kitchen with 4-burner electric stove, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. There are two bathrooms. A bathroom with shower, two sinks and toilet. The second bathroom has a shower, bathtub, sink and toilet. Veranda to the house around and a large terrace. Using patio furniture, barbecue, deck chairs. Facilities: washing machine, iron. The pool measures 12x5 meters and is surrounded by spacious terraces with stunning views. At the pool is a summer kitchen with electric oven, four ring gas hob, fridge, kettle and coffeemaker. A large dining table with chairs and a big barbecue. Also toilet and (cold) shower. Location: The villa is situated on a private plot of 4 hectares in a rural setting, away from the crowds. You have access to an Internet connection via Wi-Fi. The owner lives on the premises.
The villa is situated on a private property of 4 hectares, at the foot of the Cevennes, in a rural, wooded, environment, far from the crowds. You have a beautiful view of the mountains of Lozère and Ardèche.
Six kilometers east is the county town of Saint-Ambroix and six kilometers west lies Bessèges. In these towns you will find all the necessary messages (Carrefour, Intermarché, Lidl) and a nice, large, regional market. Two kilometers from the estate is a local shop where the bread and all sorts of everyday items can be purchased. Within walking distance, Le Grand Bois (www.le-grand-bois.com), an adventure and outdoor center where You can join guided tours with mountain biking, canoeing, rafting and treetop walks. Fish can be in the Cèze or one of many other mountain streams in the area where trout one of the many species that can be caught (!! local regulations !!)
In the vicinity are great rivers (the Cèze) picturesque towns (St. Ambroix Lussan) and numerous tourist activities. (Eg la Grotte de la Cocalière - One of the three most beautiful caves in France (www.grotte-cocaliere.com), the tour opened in coal mine of Ales, adventure park in the woods, castles, great regional markets, the beautiful Ardèche the fascinating Pont d'Arc, the famous Pont du Gard. Within a radius of 50 km you can visit Ales, Uzes, Nimes, Les Vans. Montelimar (nougat), Montpellier (90km), the Camargue and Marseille (120km), Avignon (palace of the popes), Orange, Montpellier and Nimes (Arenes, Maison Carree) are nice day trips.

A week of peaceful holiday indulgence

We had an excellent week at this very well appointed and extremely well equipped holiday home. Seven of us had more than enough room to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The villa is very secluded and quiet but a short drive from necessary amenities. The pool area was huge and again excellently equipped with the added luxury of an outdoor kitchen. Wim and Hetty the owners live close by and are always ready to help make your stay enjoyable whilst at the same time being very discreet and respectful of guests privacy. All in all a wonderful experience in our favourite part of France.
