Romance retreat is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with fantastic views of Bodega Bay, Tomales Head, and the ocean. A short 5 min walk (1.5 blocks) from the beach, it has been completely updated and remodeled. Pottery barn furniture and bedding, alongside some vintage finds, create a warm and comfortable environment. The house is loaded with toys for kids to play with, both at the beach and in the home.

Romance retreat is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with fantastic views of Bodega Bay, Tomales Head, and the ocean. A short 5 min walk (1.5 blocks) from the beach, it has been completely updated and remodeled. Pottery barn furniture and bedding, alongside some vintage finds, create a warm and comfortable environment. The house is loaded with toys for kids to play with, both at the beach and in the home.
This house is perfect for 1 large family, 2-3 couples to get away or 1-2 families to share. Upstairs is completely open, with one main room that includes kitchen, dining, and living room. There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds in the back and a full bathroom on one side. The dining room table has 2 huge picture windows surrounding it that provide expansive views of the ocean and Bodega Bay. Downstairs is a spacious separate in-law unit with 2 twin beds and a full bathroom.
A hot tub and outdoor shower are on the side of the house. Laundry is available for stays of 7 days or greater. Wireless internet provided. All beds have memory foam toppers and are super comfortable.
Maximum 6 guests.
This home is perfect for enjoying the beautiful Marin coast. A short drive away you can pick up oysters and clams from Hog Island Oyster Co. Or get your own by renting a boat from Lawson's Landing! Surf fishing, mussels, pier crabbing, and clam flats are minutes away. There is great surfing and kite surfing. For kids there are sand dunes, endless beach, and playing in the surf. We have all sorts of beach toys and boogie boards for you to use. There are also toys and games for playing indoors. Dillon beach has so much to offer, we love spending time here with friends and family.
Please, to keep our home in great shape and our friendly neighbors happy, we have a No Tolerance Party Policy. We are sorry to sound harsh, but after a sorority rented it and had about 20 people staying there, we wanted to be explicit about our expectations. We try to keep our home as a lovely, restful haven designed for guests who want to enjoy a quiet stay enjoying family and friends. As such, we cannot accommodate parties or undeclared pets. The violation of this policy will result in a $500 fine and immediate vacation of the property. A maximum of 6 adults can be accommodated during your stay.

One scientist, one engineer, two young twin boys. We live nearby and bought this house to build memories with our family. When the children were young, we fell in love with Dillon Beach and Lawson's Landing. They are the best beaches for kids, especially when you have twins that crawl in different directions. We have a small aluminum boat (similar to what they rent at Lawson's Landing) that we launch from the beach to go crabbing & clamming on Tomales Bay. We fell in love with Dillon Beach from the first moment we discovered it, there is just something magical about the village, the people who live there, and Tomales Bay.

This house is warm and inviting. From the moment you walk in, take a deep breathe, the environment just starts to relax you. There is a huge picture window in the front room, we spend hours working at the table or reading on the couch while enjoying the incredible view. This house is warm and inviting. From the moment you walk in, take a deep breathe, the environment just starts to relax you. There is a huge picture window in the front room, we spend hours working at the table or reading on the couch while enjoying the incredible view. It is especially peaceful while the children are napping.
We really enjoy Tomales Bay as well. We had rented in Bolinas and Stinson and loved it, but you can't really get out on the water there. In Dillon, you can zip down to Lawsons and $120 later you have a boat and a motor for the day to explore. There are giant rope swings at secret beaches, trails to Tomales Head, star fish, clamming, crabbing. We love all the exciting adventures in the bay with our kids.
