We are Art & Renee Shattuck and we are the owners of CaboMom Plaza Calafia Condominium. We first visited Cabo San Lucas in February of 2004, looking for a warm place to spend our winters after retirement in a few years. We are Art & Renee Shattuck and we are the owners of CaboMom Plaza Calafia Condominium. We first visited Cabo San Lucas in February of 2004, looking for a warm place to spend our winters after retirement in a few years. We looked at several places but fell in love with the first place we visited in Plaza Calafia. Plaza Calafia is located in the Cabo Bello development, a gated community with 24 hour security. It is located about 3 miles outside of the town of Cabo San Lucas in an area known as the Cabo Corridor. The complex consists of several three story buildings situated around a garden area with two pools, an adult only pool and a family pool. Both pools have barbecue areas equipped with grills and clean-up sinks, the family pool has a whirlpool and there is free wireless internet service in the adult pool area. The water supply in Cabo is either spring fed groundwater or piped directly from the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains and is generally very pure. While bottled water is still the norm for drinking, precautions used in other parts of Mexico like avoiding ice and salads are not necessary in Cabo. Please visit our website for Reviews
