Casita Amarilla is a spacious 3 bedroom bungalow located in a gated development just 2.5 km (1.5 mi) outside the Samara village/beach. The property, set in a private 1.25 acre lot, contains a new 10x30ft pool which was installed in 2014, outdoor shower, rancho, and several fruit trees. Casita Amarilla is a spacious 3 bedroom bungalow located in a gated development just 2.5 km (1.5 mi) outside the Samara village/beach. The property, set in a private 1.25 acre lot, contains a new 10x30ft pool which was installed in 2014, outdoor shower, rancho, and several fruit trees. The house has lofted ceilings with windows and fans for ventilation as well as air conditioning in the bedrooms. There are three bedrooms; Master bedroom with queen bed, walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom with double sink, Second Queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a third bedroom with a twin over double bunk bed. There is a Pack N Play crib available for infants. Fully equipped kitchen: fridge with ice-maker, electric range, microwave,toaster & coffee-maker, breakfast bar seating for 4. Dining area seats 6. Living room has a sectional sofa with a TV and Blu-ray player with a variety of adult and family movies (DVD). There is a two piece bathroom and laundry room with washer and dryer adjacent to the kitchen. The back porch adjacent to the third bedroom is gated and screened, allowing fresh, cooler air to flow through at night. Casita Amarilla backs onto the Werner Sauter Biological Reserve - the jungle is literally right outside the back door, as can be seen in the photos, where howler monkeys are a frequent sighting. There is an abundance of other wildlife in and around the property, particularly in the green season - iguanas and other lizards, a variety of birds and butterflies as well as the occasional coati sighting.

We were drawn to this property for many reasons. The location is private and natural with plenty of space for growing flowers and fruit trees. A multitude of wildlife is practically at our doorstep. We are close enough to the highway and town that getting about is easy. There's convenient access to many shops, restaurants and services - and the beach! - just 2.5 km/1.5mi away - accessible with a short drive, by public transit or even walking if so inclined.
