The Rogue River House is located on 10 wooded acres at the base of mountain territory, at the border between Josephine and Jackson counties, and central to many activities throughout the Rogue Valley. Whether you are a family who needs to spread out or a couple who desires a quiet, romantic getaway, our comfortable and pet-friendly cabin is the perfect destination. We just a short (10-15) minute drive from the town of Rogue River, named after the majestic river that runs through it. A beautiful drive will provide the much-needed relief from the fast paced I-5 interstate.
Relax and do nothing or enjoy all that the Rogue Valley/Southern Oregon has to offer. Once removed from the city lights stargazing is second to none. Enjoy vineyards with wine tasting, rafting to skiing, zip lines to theater, shopping at malls/major stores or in historic Jacksonville. Explore the Oregon Caves, Crater Lake or the amazing Redwoods and Oregon Coast...So many things to choose from, and all within driving time from 20 minutes to 2 hours. At 1500 feet above sea level, we tend to get snow in the winter. Bring your quads or horses and explore mountain trail access 1/4 mile from the cabin. Amazing vistas and a few secret streams! Very easy trail rides to an intermediate climb over the mountain range. There are 2 holding pens for horses. Property has easy access for trailers and motorhomes. Come and create your own memories in our Rogue River House!

Kat has worked in the healthcare documentation industry for over 40 years and works with a healthcare software application company. We're animal lovers with 2 dogs, 2 cats, a horse, and a baby burro recently adopted from the BLM in Arizona.
Why This Property?
We purchased the property with two homes after the decision to move to Oregon (from Santa Barbara) and be closer to family. Kat has two sisters in the area and decided to locate herself between both of them. The property is close enough to the I-5 interstate, but far enough from the sounds and lights of the city to experience true country living.

It is situated on 10 acres, providing plenty of space to spread out and enjoy family, hanging out with a horse and burro, or just a peaceful walk through the woods. If your visiting other family or friends in the area, you are welcome to invite them over to hang out and spend time together. You can still stay connected with a complementary cell phone (in case your phone does not have service in the area), land line with unlimited long distance (within the US) and high-speed satellite Internet and TV service.
