Welcome to The Gateway Cottage! Our beautiful upscale 1765 sf 'cottage' is situated at above 7000' altitude in a natural setting on a peaceful acre of cool pines in Northern Arizona. We are located just minutes east of Williams, and Bearizona Wild Animal Park, The Gateway to the Grand Canyon, where you will find plenty of shopping for most anything you need. It's an easy 45 minute/60 mile drive to the south rim of the Grand Canyon or Grand Canyon Caverns, and with Flagstaff 25 minutes and Sedona an hour away, this is a great central location!! The tastefully decorated interior includes 2 KING bedrooms and 2 full baths, a sleeping loft with a QUEEN bed, as well as a QUEEN sleeper sofa and pack-n-play crib comfortably accommodates up to 9 guests. See the stars through the skylights from the king size bed in the master and the queen bed in the loft. The fully stocked kitchen includes everything you need, bring your groceries and make a simple or gourmet meal. There are both propane and charcoal grills as well. The laundry room includes linens and towels. Outside relaxation on the deck or the front porch, and a great swing set for the kids. Fun activities (winter and summer) are nearby, including the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Grand Canyon Railway/Polar Express, Bearizona and the Deer Farm, as well as museums, observatories and outdoor recreation such as fishing, hiking, skiing, sledding and more. This home will not disappoint you! Sorry, as a courtesy to guests with allergies, we do not host pets. Check in is 4:00 pm and checkout is 11:00 am.

About Merrie
Our names are Darrel & Merrie, we met in Williams & have been married since 1973. We have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Merrie grew up in the area, and has always called it "home", she loves the mountains, pines and the quiet pace of the location.

We purchased the land in 2002 and dreamed of the day we would see our cabin there on the property. We drew the plans and sub-contracted the construction beginning in 2005, and with a lot of sweat equity, the home was, for the most part, completed in 2007.
