Call of The Sea is a new luxury beachfront vacation rental on Galveston Island. Or after a long day on the beach, relax in the hot tub in the night with the gentle breeze fluttering on your face while listening to the sound of the crashing waves from the ocean and gazing into the dark sky watching the clouds dancing around the moon and stars.

• Is covered with louvers giving you and your guests the most privacy you can ask but still can enjoy the Gulf of Mexico or the gentle breeze in the evening. This is my favorite spot in the house.

INQUIRING: We are not nosy but would love to know who is going to stay in our house. We hope that you wouldn't mind sharing. When inquiring, please include the followings that would help us to determine if this property is a good fit for your group.

- the maximum number of adults and kids (from infant up) that will stay at the house including the day guests.
- the purpose of your visit to Galveston.
HOUSE RULES:
• We DO NOT accept Prom, Homecoming, Wedding, Parties, and no gathering. These are strictly prohibited for immediate eviction and forfeit all your rental and security deposit.
• Absolutely No Smoking (any kind including vapor), No Pets. We have a very strict policy on these rules due to a medical problem.
• Our minimum booking age is 30. ID will be required.
• The Primary Guest ( the one had paid for the booking) must check-in at the property and be there for an entire stay or we have the right to refuse occupancy, cancel the reservation and retain the full payment and the security deposit.
• Maximum occupancy is up to 14 (including infant and up) at any time. Only registered guests (listed on the rental agreement) are entitled to stay at the house. Having day guests, unless pre-approved in writing, will be charged for $100/day /guest. Day guests are any guests beyond those are registered or listed on the rental agreement.
WARNINGS: It is very important to know that All the dunes and bushes on the island are the poisonous snakes’ habitats. This has been known in Galveston for many years back.
Please stay off the dunes and bushes. Stay on the dune walkover to get to the beach. Always watch your steps when you walk on grasses or the walkover.
BUGS: ants, chiggers, palmetto bugs, cockroaches, silverfishes, spiders, love bugs, big bugs, small bugs, tiny bugs, and all kinds of bugs are part of Galveston's life. Because we are in the coastal region with wetlands and open ditches surrounding.
To control these pests, the house has been scheduled to be sprayed quarterly and annually by our local pest control company. Per our pest control company, the spraying does not prevent them to crawl or fly in during the open and close of getting in and out of the house. However, if they do get in, they won't survive. You might see them unexpectedly during your stay.
Do not leave the door open, close it immediately after use, turn off the outside lights at the doorways also help to minimize them from getting inside. Because lights attract bugs.
Please do not bring food, snacks, candy into the bedrooms to prevent ants. Please do not leave food crumbs on the floor, inside the house will attract ants, or the ground floor, outside where the picnic tables are, will attract wild animals such as snakes, ants, bugs.
NEW CONSTRUCTION:
The house is in underdeveloped communities. We do not know exactly when new construction will start or how long to expect construction on any one house to last. You may reserve a house at a time when there is no construction, but it may begin prior to your arrival.
We regret any inconvenience that may result. We have no control over these situations and are unable to refund you the money.
CANCELLATION:
• Due to the nature of the vacation rental business, we are not able to accept the cancellation occurs less than 61 days to the arrival date. Cancellation of 60 days or more prior to your check-in date receives a full refund less a $500 cancellation fee.
• Cancel less than 60 days prior to your arrival date will not receive a refund. With all the effort, we will try to rebook and refund the difference.
• No credit will be given for shortened stays due to the last arrival or early departure for any reason.
• No cancellation due to weather, rain, severe storms or hurricane.
• Confirmation of your booking dates: Please note that we sometimes receive multiple inquiries for the same dates and reservations are ONLY confirmed once payment has been made and a signed rental agreement has been received with 72 hours of booking with a copy of your photo government-issued ID. Unfortunately, we cannot hold dates
• If you have not agreed with any term of the agreements, you will have up to 72 hours after you receive the rental agreement to cancel with full refunds. After 72 hours, the 90-days-before-and-after-cancellation rule will be applied.
Because of our strict cancellation policy, WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND GUESTS SHOULD PURCHASE THE CANCELLATION PROTECTION, TRIP INTERRUPTION OR TRAVEL INSURANCE TO PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT AND DURING THE HURRICANE SEASON, June 1 to Nov 31. It is not much, but it's sure to save you a lot of headaches.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE: If you decided to obtain the trip protection insurance, please read their fine print or contact them to get more information. Because we have no control over their terms and conditions.

PLEASE NOTE: the ants, palmetto bugs, love bugs and all kind of bugs are always present in Galveston. Because we are in coastal region and surrounding by wet lands. To minimize please do not bring food into the bedrooms. Please keep kitchen area clear of open food overnight. Please keep living and ground floor areas crumb free to prevent ants from coming into the house.
Mosquitos and bugs are ever present on Galveston Island. Switching off lights by the doorways when entering and exiting will help minimize mosquitos from making their way inside.

This was our 2nd visit. Three years later is was just as wonderful. The house is beautiful, beds are super comfy, view is absolutely amazing! It has everything you need. We never had to leave. Outdoor furniture is plentiful and we had every meal on the balcony. Great owners that communicate every detail and are there with every answer quickly. We will be back again!
