Charming, bright, five room, ground floor unit sleeps 6, and provides the perfect respite for your family! Perfectly located - literally a few steps to the beach on a beautiful, quiet road, and a short walk to the downtown area. The large kitchen is well equipped with full size stove and refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots and pans, dishes, utensils - everything you need! Bedroom one has a queen size bed, and bedroom two has a set of twin beds. The living room has a daybed with trundle which provides 2 more twin beds. Off the living room is the large, covered patio which runs the length of the beach side of the house. This space is yours alone with plenty of room to relax and store your beach paraphernalia. It's also a great space to dine as an alternative to the kitchen dining area. There is a full bath with tub/shower. There is a coin op laundry room right outside your door.

Venetias Restaurant is on the corner - diner style food with a retro decor to match. The Pier and downtown area is less than 1/2 mile- and easy walk on the beach or street. Lots of shops, food, amusements along the way - something for everyone. Ocean Park is a short walk in the other direction - a quaint neighborhood with cute shops, restaurants, old fashioned ice cream parlor and shuffle board courts.
You can walk almost everywhere, but you can also jump on the trolly which stops close by and travels around town, or the bus to South Portland/Portland or Saco/Biddeford. The train station is within walking distance too. The DownEaster stops several times a day. You can rent bikes, scooters and unique tandem surrey bikes for a fun trip around town!

I grew up in Holden Massachusetts, purchased this property in 2000 and moved here year round in 2002. I am so fortunate to have my own home on site, separate from the rental units. I feel truly blessed to live here, to be a part of this close knit community, and to own and manage this business. It's a privilege to host families on their vacations, provide them with a home away from home where they make memories! Many guests return year after year and become friends. We watch each others kids grow up.
As a single mom, I work part time at my "regular" job at Maine Medical Center. This allows lots of time to be here to take care of my daughter and my guests. Fixing up the rental units is fun for me! Painting rooms (I love beachy colors), sewing curtains, planting flowers and even spring cleaning - I look forward to it all every year!
Summer is hectic and fun! But I also appreciate the tranquil, picture perfect September beach days- and all the seasons. Cross country skiing on the beach after a snow fall is breathtaking!
I live on the property in a separate house, so I am here if you need me! I personally clean and maintain the property. You will see me watering the flowers and enjoying the beach. I am also here to take out the trash - who wants to be bothered with that on vacation? I love living here and take great pride in caring for my home and rental units. I will respect your privacy but just next door or a text away if you have a question or need to borrow a cup of sugar!!
Why This Property?
My family vacationed in Ocean Park when I was growing up. I continued to vacation in Old Orchard Beach as an adult, and dreamed of someday owning my own beach house. Friends from Massachusetts bought a second home here, told us about this property abutting theirs which came up for sale, and the rest is history! Owning this property was more than I ever dreamed of!!

The beach is just a few steps from your doorway - no street to cross. Camp Comfort Ave is a quiet, pretty little road with only a few houses. Mostly they are properties like mine - a few rentals with owner occupied living space as well. We love flowers and it shows!! Window boxes, flower pots and garden beds are everywhere!
