“Family Making Memories” is so close to great music theaters, outlet shopping, restaurants, and craft shops... not to mention Dollywood, Gatlinburg, the wonderful hiking trails, mountain streams, and views to be found in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Our cabin celebrates the best of life - the timeless pleasures of family, friends, laughter, and reflection. It summons us to a simpler place and time. It was built for good conversation, deep cups of coffee, and guiltless afternoon naps. Autumn here practically begs for a picnic; you have found the perfect escape for quiet, peace, and serenity, sunrises and sunsets over mountains when you visit for a long weekend, or a week.
Admire the vibrancy of the honey-hued wooden interior walls as you enter this beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, two level log home. The spacious living room provides all new comfortable furniture including large flat screen TV, perfectly placed around the stone fireplace, and a great place to watch your favorite football team. Prepare and enjoy tasty meals in the fully equipped kitchen and comfortable dining area, where you’ll find seating for six that is made from 100 year old reclaimed wood. Try outside dining on our octagon shaped picnic table after grilling on the large gas grill. We also have a washer & dryer in case you drip a little BBQ sauce on the new shirt you just bought at one of the outlet stores. The cabin is fully equipped and furnished and just waiting for your arrival.
You will have no trouble bringing the whole family since we can accommodate up to 8 adults (10 total including all children). Family Making Memories has a king-sized bed in the main level master bedroom, one queen in the second bedroom, and two queens in the third, and a queen sleeper sofa if needed. You can watch TV in the privacy of your bedroom or just catch up on your rest. Entertainment will be a breeze having a game room with pool table, along with a game table, so bring your favorite board games or cards and let the fun begin. Or after dinner, relax in the great outdoor private hot tub. This cabin offers WI-Fi so bring along your laptop and stay connected with the rest of the world and those back home that are hard at work while you relax and enjoy the Smokies. All of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg’s action packed adventures are just a short car ride away.
Pull over for cider and a bag of boiled peanuts. Stop at the river and look for trout. Hop out and see where that nature trail leads. Be curious. After all, you are on vacation. As a rental property owner and understanding the frustrations of a large management company renting our properties we decided to start our own rental company with a limited number of properties owned by others. We started in 2012 with just 2 cabins in the Pigeon Forge area and now have about 20 properties to rent. Our business has grown by word of mouth and the excellent service we have provided to the owners and guests.
We are fortunate that we have a substantial number of repeat guests and now have 6 sets of housekeepers. We also have our customer service try to call each property during each guest stay just to check on potential issues. Currently we offer 1-6 bedroom cabins and they can all be viewed on our booking website www.RentCabinsAndCondos.com
