Casa Pasqualin is completely independent and as the house situated topmost in the historic village centre of Cessole, it benefits not only from the stunning location and view with plenty of sunshine from morning to night, but at the same time from the proximity to village too. During the expansion the over 250-year old facade was not modified and the inside of the old vault was refurbished. In contrast with the old buildings great value was placed on modern comfort in the expansion and facilities. So the house has 7 double bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, 2 galleries, an open living / dining area with modern kitchen with island and in addition to a swedish stove, the house also has a combined gas / solar heater that protects the environment. And a skillful layout of a total of 330m2 living area makes it possible to stay with up to 16 guests (all children included). The pool is always available at the best location (15 x 3.5 metres with separate childrenโs pool). Also all terraces, seats and the bread house are at your own disposal during the entire rental period.
Right on the deck off the kitchen there is a small bread house, which is also a perfect place to grill. On request and prior arrangement before the arrival a cook can be organized for one or two dinners. The house has a Nespresso machine, capsules for this must be brought by you.
The pool is in operation when heater is no longer required to work inside the house. That is, from around the beginning / middle of May until mid / late October.
Best wines, appropriate food that goes with it: With Barolo and Barbaresco in the Piedmont the grapes grow to probably the best wines from all over Italy. But even Barbera, Dolcetto and white wines such as Chardonnay, Arneis and Gavi and even Moscato do not need to be hidden. Wine tasting at a winery here often takes a whole afternoon, for the Piedmontese are innately very nice people and they take time. Suitable to these fine wines here, along with white truffles in the fall, we can find a wide range of wonderful dishes all year round. A real Piedmontese food needs no menu, because what they buy fresh in the morning is what they cook for the day. So the same special menu is served throughout the room, starting with up to 8 starters, followed by the Primo (fine thin noodles or small, handmade ravioli, lasagna, risotto, gnocchi, soup, etc.), the Secondo (meat, often from veal or rabbit, wild boar) and finally cheese and / or dessert (probably the most famous โPanna cottaโ).
For tennis players, fishermen and horsemen too: On foot, it is just 600 metres from the villageโs own tennis court. This is so rarely used that until now there has never been any scheduling conflicts, when our guests wanted to use it. The form must be checked there for a small fee of โฌ 5 per match (per day and not hours). Adjacent to it is a football pitch and a bocce court, which are freely available. Anyone planning for a ride or riding lesson, the best place to get picked up is โCentro Ippicoโ, which is 5km away in Quartino, where various Camargue horses wait for movement. And anglers come to the specially constructed large pond in the neighbouring village Vesime at their own cost. Fishing and bait are rented or sold there.
