SMOKING: No smoking in the house, please do not throw the butts on the ground outside. Be mindful of the trash and use a trashcan. If you smoke in a Non-smoking house, it is detectable and will forfeit your damage deposit.
FIRE PIT: Glass, cans or non-burnable items are not allowed in the Fire Pit. If there's not a burn ban, burn what you can and haul off your trash, when you leave. Failure to follow this will forfeit your Deposit.
TRASH: leave it outside in an outdoor trash cans with a lid, in a trash bag. There are bags and two cans provided. Do not leave your trash inside the house.
AC/HEATER: During the Summer, turn the AC OFF, and lights, and any fans when you leave.
During the winter, turn the Heat off, and all lights OFF.
LOCKS/KEY: Lock all the doors and windows. Put the key back in the lock box and scramble the code, close the lid on the box. If for some reason you cannot put the key in the lockbox, call and text me, for instructions. Leaving the key in the house and locking it up, will forfeit your deposit.
TV’s: There are two TV’s. The Flat screen may pick up some local channels with the rabbit ears. The large TV in the sunroom is for watching VHS/DVD movies. It should be ready to use after inserting a movie into the DVD/VHS Player.
If you notice anything that needs repair or attention, please notify me immediately.
Please leave the beds unmade, and put the towels in the washing machine as a laundry basket.

HI...I was born and raised in Dallas, TX, and at Lake Texoma, from the time that I was about 2 yrs old. The lake was my home away from home, just about every weekend. I water skied, fished, rode horses and motorcycles, my entire young life. I now live in Grand Prairie, and work in Carrollton, TX. I have 2 adult daughters, and 3 grandchildren, and 3 standard poodles.

Why This Property?
I was offered partial ownership in 2009, and when my business partner was ready to retire, he offered me his percentage. It was always in my plan to buy him out and that's what I did. I love Lake Texoma, and the atmosphere, and will plan on spending many weekends and vacations here, for years to come. I never plan on selling, and hope to have family reunions here soon.

There's a big fire pit outside for bonfires.
It's close to the Lake, and it's comfy enough to enjoy the country and not being too far from the city. This cabin reminds me of my childhood cabin that I grew up in. My home away from home. I actually like the fact that it is next to the Army Corp Land, and nothing will be built next to me. Makes it seem more private and more woodsy.
