ALIHI LANI. This small, 6 unit complex is a 'Real Gem', according to the Ultimate Kauai Guidebook. The grounds include an oceanfront pool, comfortable furniture and umbrellas, and two gas grills.
OCEANFRONT. Our second floor location overlooks the oceanfront pool and is less than 50 yards from the pounding surf. Watch ocean life and spectacular sunsets from the 184 square foot covered lanai. Year-round you will see turtles and dolphins - and during whale season the show is right in front of you.
LOCATION. The Sheraton beach is located less than 5 minutes walk. There you can enjoy snorkeling, beach swimming, surf lessons, and sunbathing. Restaurants, groceries, and shopping are also within easy walking distance.
FLOOR PLAN. Our home has two true master suites, both with bathrooms directly accessible from the sleeping area. Bedrooms are air conditioned. The setup is ideal for two couples or a family of up to 6. Lanai, Kitchen, Dining, Living, and one Bedroom all have spectacular ocean views.

I'm retired from a career in Marketing and David from being a small business owner. We live near the beach in Northern California in a cute town called Half Moon Bay. It's also near the ocean, but it's a bit cool to swim here most of the year.

I'm retired from a career in Marketing and David from being a small business owner. We live near the beach in Northern California in a cute town called Half Moon Bay. It's also near the ocean, but it's a bit cool to swim here most of the year.

Why This Property?
The South side of Kauai is our favorite for its excellent ocean swimming, scenery, sunshine, restaurants, and shopping. Alihi Lani is in the best part of the Poipu area in that it is walking distance to the Sheraton/Poipu beach and two shopping centers.

The complex is small - only six units - so there's never a struggle to find a lawn chair or use of the barbecue. The pool is gorgeous - oceanfront with lovely landscaping surrounding it.
Our home is on the second floor so the views are outstanding. Its lanai is huge, covered, and has a ceiling fan to keep you cool.
My favorite thing to do when at our Kauai home is sit outside on the lanai with the binoculars looking for whales, dolphins and turtles in the ocean in front of the property.
The layout of the home is ideal. All the living spaces have amazing ocean views and the bedrooms are true master suites, so everyone has enough space and privacy when we have guests with us. Usually when we go to Hawaii we have lots of folks wanting to come with us!
