We are right near boating on Lake Fontana or whitewater rafting on the Nantahala River. In the evening you can sit around our nice firepit and enjoy the summer stars! We are close to town or take some day trips to places like Pigeon Forge Dollywood Gatlinburg or the Biltmore in Asheville. You might want to take a trip to the Casino in Cherokee! If your looking for a comfortable stay we are your Home away from Home !! UPDATE: We now have in house WIFI to go along with our new 45in Smart TV. In the evenings you can watch a movie on Netflix
Please come and visit us and ride the Great Smokey Mountains Railways Polar Express ! For the young kids this is a awesome ride!

We like to grill and a clean grill was so appreciated. hot tub, fire pit - whats not to like. Lots to See and do in area. Darnell farms for local produce and firewood, nice people too. Train ride thru gorge a must. Oh, Fontana Dam - dont miss it. If your up to it a horse ride thru park was great. hike to waterfalls. bryson city and entire area so Much to offer. Split bedroom plan makes it nice for everyone to have their own space. Open kitchen/dining/living room makes it great for gathering. The covered porches were a great hang out space as well. Hot tub at the end of the day was super relaxing. The owner of the property is so nice and was close by to answer any questions. We will definitely be back. The Windbiglers The Comfort Mountain home is much more in person. Very well equipped home. We had everything we needed to cook, sleep, rest and relax. Very nice lot on top of mountain! Nice spot for kids and pets. The Trudeaus are wonderful folks to rent from. They are right next door if needed, yet we enjoyed total privacy and comfort. I would highly recommend this property for any activity or events around Bryson City and Fontana Lake. We enjoyed multiple days on the lake and the location was also convenient for the weekend flea markets, trips into Cherokee to the casino, and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. The front and back porch areas are great for entertaining with plenty of shade. Very nice fire pit area. Sleeping accommodations were nice, with extra bedding and sleeping cots if needed. Very clean. Great wifi and cable tv service and pretty good cellular service for being in the mountains. Thank you so much for having us. We will definitely see you again when we return to Fontana Lake.

I give all thanks to God foremost, Secondly Roger and Barb. The amount of space and cleanliness on Comfort Mountain is amazing. The upgrades done are nice. I wouldn't change a thing and hopefully I look forward to seeing them both next year. God Bless and Thank you again for your hospitality.
