In the heart of the medieval city of Rhodes ,UNESCO World Heritage site , behind a high wall you will find hidden, enclosed on 80 sq m Maison Roxanne. with terrace and a private sitting area outside.On the ground floor is the living room with comfortable seating ,sofa bed for 2 person , fireplace, TV & satellite, dinning area and the open fully equipped the kitchen A wooden staircase leads to first floor, to the open bedroom with a double bed and air condition.The bath is located in the middle ,equipped with a round bath tab and bidet.The shutters or blinds are adjustable to dark the rooms,or to keep mosquito’s away.On the terrace, guests can have their meals under the sun umbrella and a sitting area invites you to enjoy the the barbecue.
. In this very quiet part of town is old churches, private homes adjacent to the streets,the house is surrounded by high stone wall and is therefore absolute privacy is granted .Perhaps this versatile face of this beautiful city, which gives our house a special character.
The locating of the house is perfect for your holidays with your family,as the beach, Museums,restaurants and night life are in walking distance,so a car is not necessary. The bus station of the Mandraki harbour is 10 min walk away and with direction to all sightseeing on Rhodes Island.

Its a joy to wander through the pedestrian-only, cobbled streets of Rhodes Towns old town, protected by 14th-century fortifications measuring 4km (2.5 miles) in length. The top attraction is the vast 14th-century Palace of the Grand Masters,housing a museum tracing the islands history. To reach it, walk up Ippoton Street, lined with ‘inns, each one representing a different country from where the knights originated. Close by, the 15th-century Knights Hospital houses the Archaeological Museum, while the nearby Byzantine Museum displays religious icons and frescoes in the former cathedral. Also take a look at the pink 16th-century Mosque of Suleiman the Magnificent, built when Rhodes was controlled by the Ottomans. A short distance southwest of town, overlooking the sea, the Acropolis of Ancient Rhodes is home to the Temple of Apollo. Many cruise companies also offer a half-day excursion by bus to Lindos, a whitewashed hillside village crowned by a medieval fortress and an ancient Greek temple.
