LOCATION- only Half-block from Columbia Heights Metro station, (Yellow/Green line) it is only 5 stops (7-10 minutes) to the National Mall, Smithsonian museums, US Capitol, Convention Center, Zoo.
What's Nearby? - Within 2 blocks you will find dozens of restaurants and cafes, neighborhood pubs, coffee shops, grocery Store, CVS drugstore.
Shopping center with Target & Marshals. (Travel light and buy it all here!)
Other neighborhoods with similar vibrant nightlife & restaurants - Adams Morgan, Dupont Circle, Mount Pleasant & U st - are an easy 15-20 minute walk, or one subway stop away.
Just three more stops along (no need to change trains) is the bustling Gallery Place/Chinatown neighborhood, with the MCI arena, Convention Center, American Art Museum, Spy museum, dozens of shops and restaurants, a 14 screen movie theater, even a bowling alley!

Amenities- The apartment has one bedroom with queen sized bed and a separate living room with a comfy queen-sized sofa bed. The full bathroom is on a landing between, so each room provides privacy.
There is a TV with cable & DVD in each room.
FREE High speed Wireless Internet.
In the living room there is a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, 2 electric burners, toaster, coffee maker etc. - everything you need to prepare light meals.
You have use of washer/dryer on 2nd floor.
Children - Because of the open stairs the apt. is not safe for crawling babies and toddlers.
Older children are welcome. There is one Aerobed available, making it possible for 3 children to share the living room. This is very crowded however and not recommended for longer than 4 nights.
I provide a permit for free street parking.
Off street parking is available - $10.00 per night.
Price INCLUDES tax and cleaning. (For stays of 4 nights. For fewer than 4 nights, there is a $50.00 cleaning fee.)
