About the Property
Alemaigne Haus Cabin is a family built home and is located in the city limits of Helen on 1 and 1/2 acres only a couple of blocks behind the Helen Water Park, and Valhalla Resort. You'll love sitting on one of the two covered porches while listening to the sounds of the creek in the back yard. On most days you will see wild turkeys walking through the yard.

Alemaigne Haus Cabin is a family built home and is located in the city limits of Helen on 1 and 1/2 acres only a couple of blocks behind the Helen Water Park, and Valhalla Resort. You'll love sitting on one of the two covered porches while listening to the sounds of the creek in the back yard. On most days you will see wild turkeys walking through the yard.
The Alemaigne Haus features two large bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a queen size bed. Both have 26 inch LCD flat screen TV's, and a private full bath in each. The living room has a 55 inch LCD flat screen TV for your enjoyment and free WIFI service. Comfortable reclining sofa in living room. Enjoy a romantic electric log fireplace with heater. There's also a sitting room with a 32' flat screen LED TV with a PlayStation 2 for the kids to enjoy.
Have your morning cup of coffee at the breakfast island in the beautiful fully equipped kitchen. There's also a large full bath with a double vanity and a separate laundry room on the main level.
If you want the feeling of seclusion, but want to be close to all of Helen's activities, then this is the place for you.
The Alemaigne Haus is within walking distance to town and has paved road access. There's one slightly steep hill on the road leading to the cabin; however, the remainder of the walk is totally flat. Most of our guests have no problem walking to town, which takes approximately 15 minutes, or if you prefer, you can drive less than a mile to downtown within three minutes.
Stay at our cabin and you'll be glad you did. We hope that you will come again and again!
Privately Owned: This cabin is privately owned and managed. As owners, we want every guest to be as comfortable as possible and to enjoy their stay. We personally greet our guests at the front door upon arrival to show you around the cabin and to give you the opportunity to ask any questions. We also provide maps, a travel guide, flyers of local attractions, and local restaurant menus for your convenience. We are never too far away if needed. Unlike property management companies, we take pride in our cabin, provide personal touches, and we want our guests to enjoy it as much as we do.
Helen Water Park: The Helen Water Park is open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. It's located only a couple of blocks from the cabin.

My husband and I are both from Georgia and love the Northeast Georgia Mountains. We moved to the area about two years ago to be near our cabin rental in Helen, and this year, we decided to purchase this additional property in Helen for others to enjoy.

Why This Property?
We have always loved the city of Helen because we really like the touch of Bavaria in this re-created alpine village with cobblestone alleys and old-world towers which is full of activities throughout the year.

Unique Benefits
We love sitting on the deck as we listen to the sounds of the creek in the back yard. And, the view from the Sunroom is absolutely beautiful! The cabin is located in the city limits and is within walking distance to town, yet you have the feeling of total seclusion.

Everything about this property was awesome, from the check in to the cleanliness right down to everything we needed in the kitchen and the rooms! Would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful home and view. Very clean and in a great location. Close to town but not in the commotion. Owners were very easy to deal with and great with their communication. We plan to stay here again in cooler months to enjoy the scenery.

This was our third time staying at this property. We enjoy the quiet, peaceful surroundings and the beauty of the natural setting. The home has everything for comfort and is always squeaky clean.
