We have the Creeper (2 miles) and Appalachian Trail (10). The Creeper Trail is one of the most used trails in the U.S. Also, we have Nascar Races, Bristol Caverns, Hungary Mother Park, lots of historical houses and areas.

Our mountains are beautiful with lots of hiking trails, horse back riding. You can also kayak in our rivers and lake. The Holston river and Holston lake is only 2 miles from the vacation house. Also, you can fish in our streams for trout, lakes, or rivers after you have obtained your VA. Permit. Just sitting on the deck in the Spring, Summer, or Fall you can listen to the birds, enjoy the mountains, and have your breakfast or late evening dinner. The place is very quite and the neighbors are wonderful. Most of them have lived there all their life. It is a very old neighborhood where I grew up.

I have owned the property for about 15 years. I inherited this house from my parents. They built it in 1954. About 4 years ago I decided to make this a Vacation Rental Home. During my career I traveled for 42 years. I have traveled all over the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Europe. After staying in all kinds of motels, hotels, etc., I learned a lot about having a comfortable place to relax and enjoy yourself. With the help of my husband, children, and grandchildren, we have tried to make this home to be comfortable and enjoyable. I have tried to make it kind of like the house I grew up in but have added some different things. One thing I have thought about was having a place which would welcome children. Hopefully I have accomplished that goal. Lots of people who have stayed at the Vacation Home have commented on how much their children enjoyed staying there. We have about 3 ac. of land where they can explore along with very nice friendly neighbors. Most of the people living nearby I grew up with or their children now live in their grandparents home. I would love the share my home with you. Come visit us any time.
