Deposit is damage and cleaning fee is deducted from that & balance refunded less any damage to house. Taxes are collected by owner as they must be split between town and state.

Absolutely no smoking in house or on upper decks or near house. No unauthorized guests not listed on contract without notice. No parties or events without permission. No pets. Please treat the house as you would want yours treated. Do NOT leave food out for bears.

About Linda

We've always loved Pagosa Springs and were thrilled to find this acreage and to build this house. Pagosa Springs is such a wonderful, little town with beautiful mountains everywhere one looks and so much to do if you enjoy the outdoors like we do. It's been a treat to bring my horses up to ride in the mountains in the summers.

Why This Property?

We fell in love with the view of Pagosa Peak from the front of the house to the beautiful valley below.

Well decorated and well stocked...we enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace, and enjoyed meals at the large dining table looking out over the fabulous views. Close to the grocery store and our favorite restaurants. Highly recommended!

Great property everything you could ask for!

We had a group of 10 adults and 2 small children. There was plenty of room for everyone to be together or do their own thing if they wanted. House is in great location just a short drive to town. Beautiful property with hills for the kids to sled down. Kitchen was stocked very well with all the basics and some not so basic supplies. Wolf Creek is about 45 minutes away and we had a great two days skiing up on the mountain. We will absolutely consider Dancing Bear next year for our annual ski trip. Thank you Linda for sharing your home with us, it was the trip of a lifetime!

he Dancing Bears Cabin is truly wonderful. There was nothing in the home to be "let down" about. Every guest has a very large comfortable bed, there was also enough towels and linens (in case you aren't one to wash your towels frequently through out your stay). The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could imagine. (even things such as foil, wax paper, condiments, trash bags, and such). The basement room is wonderful for children to have a place to play and games to keep them entertained. We were snowed in for a couple days, but the house was big enough to keep everybody comfortable and relaxed. (even with 13 people). Linda has robes and toiletries available in every room, and there are enough TVs throughout the house to watch whatever you want. Linda informed us of the extra sleds that they kept in the garage and the children had a blast using them on the extended drive way down to the garage. The fireplaces were wonderful to have, and they were all easy to use. The large dining table in the kitchen was large enough to fit all of us and the view was the best you could ever ask for. It was hard for us to leave the table even hours after the conclusion of each meal because of the wonderful view. I would recommend this house every time! We enjoyed every minute of it. Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Adventure Seekers, Families with Teenagers

Absolutely Magnificant!

This home is absolutely magnificent. There were 7 adults staying for 5 nights. Each had their own bed room area with bath. There is everything that you would ever need available in the house. Any kitchen and cooking amenities were readily there for your usage. The Aspens were beautiful along with the cool crisp weather. We did the hot air balloon ride which was awesome. Highly recommend the Dancing Bear home. Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Sightseeing, Adventure Seekers, Age 55+, Families with Teenagers My Response Thanks Newton, I'm so glad you had a grand time in Pagosa and loved the house - I try to keep it well stocked so that it's like what you would have in your own home. Congratulations on trying the hot air balloon flight - I know the Aspens are beautiful from the ground so I can only imagine what it's like to soar above them! I hope to have you return soon.
