Perfect location for family Thanksgiving

What a great house and location! Our family was looking for a change this year and your house at Smith Mountain Lake just what we were looking for. It was very much as advertised and Judy could not have been more accommodating. The property was in a great location and fully stocked for people of all ages (which we had). Thanks again, and we would certainly recommend this property to others.

We visited in 2010 and loved the house so much that we went back again this year. The house is beautiful and pet friendly. The house is spacious and accommodating. There are many books and games inside to entertain should the weather not be great. Outside is a beautiful dock, tiki bar, and fire pit and the top deck is very relaxing. We had an amazing time and hope to visit again soon. Judy is such a pleasure to work with, she made the booking process seamless and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We absolutely love this property!!!

Nice vacation to SML and great house for our group

Just returned from our stay at SML and Dream Come True. The house was perfect for my large group of friends. The layout is unique and provides different spaces to come together or have some privacy. The house was clean, cozy and real cabin-feel. It was just as described in the HomeAway listing. The owner, Judy, checked in before and after to make sure everything went smooth. It's hard to say what our favorite features were. We spent nights at the fire pit or in the TV room, and early evenings on the upper deck. I was afraid from the pics that it wouldn't be private but property is large enough with trees and cove wide enough that it wasn't an issue. One of the reasons we selected this house is because of fewer steps to the water to accommodate one of our friends compared to most other lake homes. This was our first time to SML and we plan to come back and would love to stay here again. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for sharing your house!

We love the fact that we can all have our own space but come together in great areas when we want! We love the master bedroom, the back deck, the dock that is actually part of the house and the fire pit but I have to say the best thing about Dream is the fact that the house is right on the water! We walk out of the living room and we are directly over the water!! You can't get much better than that

We live in NC and have been coming to SML for several years with our family. We own a business so we have the flexibility to visit our home every 2 weeks. Even when it is booked, we go up and check on things on the day renters are leaving. Therefore, we can keep the house in excellent condition!

Our home is equipped like no other. We leave it as though we were staying there except for our personal food! You name it, we have it! From fully equipped kitchen, lake toys, games, books, extensive video collection, puzzles! We have a tiki bar but actually the whole house is your tiki bar cause the house sits on the lake! Plenty of dock room for sunning & watching the sunsets. Large floater to tie boats up to or to sit on a watch the lake activity! Two decks over the water & connected onto the house. Eat your meals on the upper deck which extends straight out from the living room/kitchen area. Come enjoy our home as much as we do! We have now added 3 kayaks! We are situated in a great cove to use the kayaks. We love to have our dogs with us so we have a fenced in yard plus the dock has a gate on it so the dogs can enjoy lake time as well!
