Tihsreed is a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city approximately 45 minutes from Colorado Springs in Teller County, Colorado. The venue is on 45 secluded acres with wonderful views of Pikes Peak. Warm and luxurious, The Cabin provides a rustic elegance to its guests.
Perfectly balanced between the 'necessities' and 'getting away from it all', the 45 acre retreat has spectacular views and abundant wildlife. The Cabin has decks which allow you to enjoy the beautiful Pikes Peak mountain region. Outdoor areas include 3.5 miles of hiking trails and more. End your day with a cozy fire as you marvel at thousands of bright stars overhead.
You and your guests will enjoy 6 bedrooms on three levels. Two of the bedrooms feature King beds and private sleeping nooks with bunk beds for families. Two kitchens and three living rooms give you lots of places to gather and visit.

On site, you can cozy up to the fire at one of the beautiful fireplaces. You can hike the property, enjoy the great outdoors and a bit of high altitude exercise while hiking the Tihsreed Trail. You will find a well stocked game supply. Many other activities are available at the house.

Big Lovely Cabin in the Woods

This house is exactly what you are thinking of if you are thinking "quintessential cabin in the woods". It has lovely, comfortable decor, lots of original artwork, plenty of blankets, throws, cookware, dishes, cups and wine glasses! There are 2 kitchens, which was handy... we mainly used the main level kitchen. We had 7 adults and 8 kids and had plenty of room for everyone. It is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but that is what we wanted. No cell service, but they have a landline phone with unlimited long distance. We rafted (cold!!!), went sightseeing in Colorado Springs, had an outdoor fire and s'mores and hung out on the porch watching hummingbirds and mule deer. We had a lot of fun. Being in the center of the state and in the mountains was exactly perfect for us.
