The three of us - hubby, me and our dog had a wonderful stay at Starfish Cottage. This is our second time staying at one of Aruna's homes. She has beautiful cottages that feel like a home, are nicely decorated and clean. And, we love that we can bring our yellow lab with us! Starfish is in a great location, an easy walk to the main street as well as centrally located on the Cape. Excellent cottage, highly recommend!
My husband and I had already put down a deposit on this property to spend the last week of July and first week of August here this summer and we were bringing our Pug, Pixie, along on vacation for the first time. When Aruna posted a cancellation for 4 nights starting June 2nd, it seemed like a perfect time to do a "test run" for all of us, the dog included. We arrived Tuesday morning to a lovely home at the end of a quiet street and were more than happy with everything provided. Our dog felt right at home as did we. Everything you could need is provided and the location is close to everything my husband and I love about the Cape. We are thrilled with what we found here at Starfish Cottage and cannot wait for our return this summer. Thank you for such a comfortable place to enjoy!
The Starfish Cottage was a wonderful escape. Nestled at the end of a quiet street, it gave us everything we were looking for -- a fun place for the kids within walking distance of the best ice cream joint on Cape Cod and a park. Several quiet beaches nearby and other family attractions. Next time, we'll stay closer to home instead of trying long day trips. The peacefulness of Dennisport is all we needed. Aruna answered emailed questions within seconds but never hovered over us. She is the perfect host and caretaker of this unique property.
I would definitely give my stay at the Starfish Cottage 5 stars. The location of the cottage was perfect, very central to beaches, restaurants, bike trails, shopping and to other towns on the cape you may want to visit. The cottage was very charming, and in a quiet, wooded and private area and so much better than a hotel or bed and breakfast. Owner also gave excellent recommendations about area things to do and places to go.
