My husband and I spent amazing 5 nights at Aruba Haven and can't stop talking about it with all our friends and family. The villa was absolutely CLEAN upon our arrival with everything provided that you would normally need on a vacation. We would have a peaceful breakfast on the patio admiring the pool and the palm trees, then grab a cooler and beach chairs (all provided by Leigh) and head to the beach! We explored several beaches during our stay and our favorite was Eagle beach. After the beach we would have a luxurious shower at the villa and relax at the patio with some ice cream in hands. Leigh constantly was making sure we knew where to go for shopping, snorkeling, lunch and dinner:) That made it easy for us and we relied on his recommendations which ended up being top notch experiences! The villa has a full stocked kitchen, nice bed linens, bath and beach towels and much much more! The pool is awesome in the evening with that blue romantic light. I'd like to mention that the flight and customs were a breath, cause there are so few people flying these days! Aruba Haven was absoletly perfect for our couples/friends vacation. Aruba Haven was very clean & spacious for three couples. Location to beaches is perfect, our favorite was Arashi Beach!! Location to downtown restaurants was excellent. We enjoyed comming home from the beach each day to have our own private pool to relax & hang out!! We enjoyed our day out on the ATV's and the fact the company receommended by Leigh & Judy came right to the Villa with ATV's was very convienent. The Villa has everything you need for the beach, chairs, towels, just pack your lunch and enjoy the day on the beautiful beach. Communication with Judy, Leigh & Lars during the planning of our vacation to checking in/out was outstanding every question they responded and would even offer suggestions which were very helpful. Judy & Leigh go Above & Beyond to make sure you have a great vacation staying at Aruba Haven...Bravo Zulu to Judy & Leigh for a job well done!!!!
The Aruba Haven was the perfect home base for our family vacation. We were a party of 6 with two in our party being teenagers. We all had our own bedrooms/bathrooms which was awesome. We absolutely loved the location of Aruba Haven. It is in a very nice, safe, quite community. The house was very clean upon arrival and very easy to settle right in and start enjoying our vacation! The communication with Lars and Leigh/Judy was so valuable. When we asked questions, we were always given great tips on how to make the best out of our short time. Wish we could have stayed a little longer than a week but we will definitely go back! The saltwater pool is amazing. We sat outside every morning for coffee and ended every evening by the pool. The house had everything we needed. Thanks for sharing Aruba Haven with us and giving us so much time and attention to ensure we were enjoying every minute. It was a true delight!!
We (total of 6 family and friends) had a wonderful vacation. Leigh and Lars were on top of everything we needed, Lars responded pretty much immediately to any questions we had. The house was very clean and spacious. We spent much of our time at home on the back deck and in the fabulous pool. And when we weren't home, we knew there was a cool home to come back to, the air worked great. The kitchen was big enough for us to fix meals together and not trip over each other. And the washer/dryer was very convenient to run a load whenever we needed to, we appreciated all the extra laundry and kitchen needs too. The location was perfect, away from the hustle/bustle of the busy beaches but close enough to go enjoy when we wanted that. Took advantage of the recommendations in the book at the house and went to some very nice places to have dinner when we weren't using the grill out back! Would recommend this home to anyone looking for a real gem of a vacation home, thank you Leigh and Lars!!
We absolutely loved staying here and Leigh and Judy were amazingly accommodating as well as informative. They sent us a 9-page PDF of useful information so we could plan our stay: places to go, things to do, best restaurants, etc. All recommendations were spot on. They were also helpful and accessible during our trip, answering every question quickly and thoroughly. By the way, there are hard copies of the PDF on site so you can reference it throughout your stay. The pool deck was our favorite part of this modern, spacious, wonderful home. We started and ended every day there. There are plenty of lounge chairs, a table if you care to eat outside, a big, comfortable couch and a gas grill that we used to cook a wonderful dinner of fresh fish and scallops. The hammock was a favorite spot for the kids. They stock a bunch of towels for pool or beach time. Speaking of the beach: it's a short walk down the road. We loved Arashi beach with its white sand and nearby coral spots for great snorkeling. We hopped in the car to try the many other beaches on the island: Eagle, Palm and Baby Beach were our other favorites. (They're all in the PDF.) Back to the house: the bedrooms are spacious, there's an air conditioner in every room, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed... including some staples like salt, pepper, spices, etc. The mantra is to use what you need, and leave supplies behind for the next person. It was great to have a washer and dryer on site so we throw a load in every once in a while. We also took advantage of the cable to watch several NCAA basketball games during March Madness. I can't say enough great things about this place. We loved it. It was wonderful, cool and comfortable and a true haven to return to after a day at the beach, or on the ATV tour, or the catamaran.... thanks Leigh and Judy. We hope to be back as soon as possible!
