This 3-bedroom, 3-bath penthouse condo awaits your fun-filled family vacation or romantic get-away. At 1640 square feet of indoor living space plus an additional 810 square feet of outdoor lanai (Hawaiian for patio) space, this home allows you to bring the whole family. Our condo is located on a corner as close to the ocean as you can get and the views are simply amazing. Many other listings show photos of views that are obtained by twisting one's neck or using a telephoto lens, but the ocean views from our condo are so awesome that the camera cannot do justice.
We underwent a complete remodel in 2018. All improvements are made with the discriminating traveler in mind.
The condo comfortably sleeps 6 with generous-sized rooms and high ceilings. Two bedrooms have king-size beds, ensuite bathrooms and doors that open out to a lanai. The master bedroom actually has doors leading to two different lanai's. Imagine not even having to get out of bed to enjoy the ocean view and listening to the sounds of the ocean to lull you to sleep every night. The third bedroom has two single beds that can be made into a king-sized bed and a door to the 3rd bathroom/powder room. Central air-conditioning and a full washer and dryer are included as well as 3 televisions, (one with surround sound and Apple TV), DVD players and Wi-Fi internet access to provide our guests with all of the comforts of home. Fully-stocked kitchen with dishwasher and full-sized refrigerator/freezer gives our guests the choice to eat in or dine out.
Makena Surf is a quiet, low-density condo complex about 5 minutes south of Wailea and across from a great golf course. Wailea is home to award-winning restaurants and world-class golf courses as well as excellent shopping. Makena Surf has two swimming pools and hot tubs, tennis courts, an herb garden, 24 hour security and free parking.
Watch both the ocean and TV from the L-shaped couch in the great room or have a family meal in the 6-seat dining table. Sample the vistas from each of the 6 lounge chairs on the lanai and try to decide which one has the best view! It's a tough life but someone has to live it. Even the kitchen has an ocean view so if you decide not to dine in one of the world-class restaurants in nearby Wailea, you can enjoy the view while you cook. Or you can fire up the barbecue and eat at the dining table on the lanai.
If you love watching the ocean, you will be so happy here that you might not want to leave! But if you want to venture outside, it is a short walk to 2 wonderful beaches and several more are a short drive away. The cove in front of our beach is so awesome that people pay to be brought here but all you have to do is put on your flippers and swim on over. We have beach chairs, towels, an umbrella and cooler, boogie boards and sand toys for your use and you can rent kayaks and snorkel gear near by. Or you can dine at world-class restaurants like Ko, Ferraro's and Morimoto Maui and Spago which are minutes away.

MINIMUM AGE: We cannot rent to anyone under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. DAMAGE – A Security Deposit is required. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent and it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met: a. you or your guests do not damage the condo or its contents; b. no charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay or the renter is not evicted by a representative of the owner or by local law enforcement;c. no artwork, furniture, linens, appliances or beach items are damaged, lost or stolen; d. you and your guests do not smoke inside the condo or on the lanais; e. gate cards and door keys are not lost;
f. No trash is to be left outside doors or on lanais at any time.
6. PAYMENT: An advance payment is required at booking. The advance payment will be applied toward the room rent. The BALANCE OF RENT is due thirty (30) days before your arrival date. A $35 fee will be assessed for returned checks.7. CANCELLATIONS: A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date are subject to a 10% Cancellation fee or $900 whichever is greater. Cancellation fee could be lowered to $200 if Owner finds replacement booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date forfeit the full advance payment and reservation deposit.
