This cabin has plenty of space, but still offers the comforting touches of feeling at home. Despite the ample space, we kept gravitating to the porch that faced the beautiful mountains. Simply stunning location! The hot tub was an enjoyable way to end the evening after exploring the close by Otter Falls. Downtown Boone was also close enough to partake in shopping and dining on a rainy day. The Youngberg family was nothing short of hospitable and accommodating of our trip!

Centrally located to all that the High Country mountains of NC have to offer, this wonderful and charming cabin is the essence of mountain vacation living. From the entry-way bear carved into the log beam, the glorious view, hemlock deck railing, fire pit, hot tub, stone fireplace, along with many other features, Knob Hill Chalet provides all the comforts of home with the charm of a cabin get-away.

This cabin features 2 fireplaces; one gas and one wood burning, stunning view, pool table, hot tub, 4 bedrooms and 3 baths that sleeps 8 -10 depending on adults/children, full-service kitchen with counter and dining for 8. It is less than a mile to Hawksnest Zip Line and Snow Tubing, Otter Falls Nature trail, and Community Tennis Courts and playground.

Walk into the Knob Hill Chalet and enter a warm and charming mountain cabin complete with a recreation room, small bar, lounging area with gas fireplace, hemlock furniture and moose, bears, and deer, and rustic accessories in abundance.
The lower level also has a full bath with shower stall, laundry room, antique mantels, beautiful high wood ceilings and wall pieces that will make you walk around this house just examining all the wonderful treasures to be found. It is the perfect place to entertain with the pool table, Foosball, gas log fireplace, 42' flat screen TV, and video games.

Completing the lower level is a bedroom will delight children as there is the bunkroom that sleeps 4 with a western and mountain motif complete with guitars and cowboy hats, and antique knickknacks that complete the theme.

As you walk up the steps the philosophy of this house is obvious as each hardwood step is hand painted with messages such as Dream, Hike, Have Fun, Enjoy, Relax....
Enter into a delightful open area with a fully stocked kitchen, dining room and living room which in itself is enchanting but must come after you have examined the stunning view of Grandfather Mountain Profile seen from every window. Imagine enjoy dinner on the hemlock stick deck and leaving behind any cares and worries among the nature and beauty.

The master bedroom on the main level of the home has a king size bed. The bathroom has a tub with shower. On the upper level of the home there are two bedrooms each with a queen size bed and there is one small bathroom upstairs for the rooms to share.

Knob Hill Chalet is centrally located in the High Country in Seven Devils. From the home you are 2 miles from Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Ziplines, 12 miles to Boone, 12 miles to Blowing Rock, 7 miles to Ski Sugar, 14 miles to Ski Beech, 12 miles to Grandfather Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway, and 9 miles to Valle Crucis.

Depending on the weather, we always recommend four wheel drive or to have chains available during the winter months. This home has paved access and the driveway will only hold 3 vehicles. There is no street parking.
