About the Property
It has 4 Bedrooms, Queen, Queen and Single, and an upstairs expansive sleeping loft/entertainment center with a King and 2 single beds& a double hideabed. There is also a hideabed in the Living room and a Queen & single bed in the finished basement rec room, with a full bath right near the outdoor Hot Tub.

It has 4 Bedrooms, Queen, Queen and Single, and an upstairs expansive sleeping loft/entertainment center with a King and 2 single beds& a double hideabed. There is also a hideabed in the Living room and a Queen & single bed in the finished basement rec room, with a full bath right near the outdoor Hot Tub.

We do have a 2VCRs, 2DVDs, 2 TVs and a complete Stereo system, 100 Movies or so and a computer with Wireless Broadband DSL and printer.
The Great room has a full modern kitchen with All Brand new appliances, glasses, dishes, pots, spices, condiments and a dining table with room for 10. There are also 2 couchs, 2 easy chairs, lots of lighting (if the 3 skylights and wall of glass overlooking the lake aren't enough).
Down in the walkout high ceiling freshly renovated basement with windows is another new full bath, Ping Pong table, Pool Table, Foos Ball, games, toys, outdoor sporting and fishing equipment, washer, dryer, another Refrig,clothesline etc. In the garage are kids riding toys, adult & kids bikes, and other toys and sports equipment.
There is a full length deck out any of the 3 sliding glass doors facing the lake and overlooking the 1 &1/2 acres of blueberry, strawberry,raspberry and blackberry bushes. You can't see another house from anywhere in the home and we are situated on a private dead end lane with only 3 houses along its 1/2 mile length. It's a couple of hundred yards to the neighbors on either side who are there primarily on the weekends only.
At the level private waterfront, down a 300 yd path from the house with its gradual entry into the very clear water with sandy bottom, there are very interesting rock formations from the long closed granite quarry nearby. We have a big alum canoe, 3 kayaks that you can fit an adult and a kid in each,4 person Paddleboat, inflatables, with all the lifejackets,paddles, fishing gear, chairs, tables, BBQ, firepit at what used to be the Stonecutters Cottage, firewood etc etc. There is a large permanent dock and a swim platform set out about 50 feet into the lake for unshaded suntanning.
Rockwood pond is about 100 acres with seasonal houses only on half it's circumference. The other half is conservation land with a 'Rails To Trails' pathway for hiking, biking ( using our 8 bikes in the garage) and a great big rope for swinging out and dropping in the lake! On the path to the waterfront the blueberries, raspberries and blackberries usually come into peak season in August. The blueberries very often last until Oct.
Really all you need to bring is your food, clothes and sheets and towels. We really do pride ourselves on trying to have everything else so that you can have an enjoyable vacation! Your pets are certainly welcome to join you on vacation,just don't leave any 'surprises' We do have a dog dish, "pooper Scooper" and lots of old tennis balls
It's a great place to spend a quiet, relaxing time with a whole lot to do right on the property.
