The Casita features a complete and stocked kitchen with full sized refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave and granite counter tops. The living room has a gas fireplace, sleeper sofa and flat screen TV with satellite service and DVD player. The bathroom features a full sized tub/shower with granite counter top vanity. A heated rack provides toasty warm towels as you step out of the shower. All shower and bath products (soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer) are included. A private bedroom has a full sized bed, closet and on-suite washer/dryer. There is free high-speed Wifi internet available. Safety features include a private entrance, fire/smoke/CO detectors and a commercial grade sprinkler system.
We are just minutes from a grand array of state and national parks, national monuments, national forests and many diverse wilderness areas. Because of the pleasant weather and the wide range of recreational activity found here, visitors often return and become permanent residents of our community. In addition to the many National Park and recreational options nearby, guests can hike trails right from their private porch ranging from flat to rolling and heart pumping, challenging climbs to the red rocked cliffs.
We are intensely committed to our environment and our planet and we recycle as much as possible (paper, glass, metal and plastic) and generate most of our energy via solar electric and thermal on-site. If you are interested in seeing any of the equipment, just ask and we are happy to demonstrate the systems.
The shared patio has seating for 6 and a propane fire pit which is available for your use weather permitting.
The private patio has its own wood burning fire pit that can be used whenever open fire restrictions are not in place. Please inquiry before using.
Please note that the entire Casita and property are strictly non-smoking.

We built our home and the Casita to enjoy the beautiful and peaceful surroundings while allowing for easy access to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, several national parks (Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon) and recreational areas (Lake Powell, Bryan Head Resort).
