Deposit Requirements
We require a damage deposit of $150 per stay, paid in full when booking. You can expect the deposit to be returned within two days of checkout. If you have chosen to pay by check, you may write a separate check for the deposit, to be held and then destroyed or returned after your departure. We have never yet - knock on wood - had to keep even a portion of anyone's deposit!
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Bookings cancelled at minimum 7 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund.
- Bookings cancelled at minimum 14 days before the start of the stay will receive a 100% refund.
Bookings cancelled 14 days or more before the start of the stay are eligible for a full refund.
Bookings cancelled fewer that 14 days but least 7 days before the start of the stay are eligible for a 50% refund.
Bookings cancelled 7 or fewer days before the start of the stay will only receive a refund at the discretion of the owner.

- Smoking permitted only at or beyond the fire pit, or in the parking area. Smoking is prohibited in or near the cottage, deck, or hot tub.
- Pet fee is $25 per stay. Dogs are welcome; other types of pets at the owner's discretion.
- Guests are responsible for cleaning up pet refuse.
- Pets should be treated with topical tick/flea repellent before arrival.
